@shake_a8 thnx for encouragement yaar....i have been preparing for civils for past 3 years after leaving TCS.....one of the reason, i think, why i was given low marks in interview (mere 50)....as soon as they came to know about my civils the interview changed its course and became more formal n stress based....lol....already gave 2 attempts and 2 mains...2012 result is still awaited....so i am looking for some place in or near to delhi to continue my prep...otherwise may b i would have to decide to leave Bank job...agar ye nai mila to may b APFC to clear ho hi jaayega....but needed some job right now or at least promise of that to keep my families hope alive....but really thnx for ur fillip....

I am already an MBA and had got campus placement in a top private bank too but later realised i want to work in public sector. To each their own. I consider my MBA degree a waste of 2 years. In its place I should have done some other masters like LLB etc.
have you read that latest notification of IBPS containing number of jobs again and read the line that i have highlighted in previous post....please check and confirm me if u feel the same abt that
@shake_a8 score is very low....may b won't even make it in 1st list....60.56 Gen.....general rank 10320.....tatz y am looking at the least preferred bank which 'if i can get selection' would make chances of delhi region most probable....
were you able to clear prelims in both your attemps?
bhai log ye rank list etc sab natak hai jisko jo bank pasand hai uske hisab se list bana lo jab merit ke hisab se bank milne lagenge tab koi na koi mil hi jayega..... & yes sab bank ek hi norm follow karte hain so Salary main hardly 2-3k ka diff. hoga I don't think ki ye itna matter karega..
Ragarding workload..: ab job karni hai to kaam ko maje le kar karo....
Posting to har 3 saal main honi hi hai so kab tak bachoge... & yes suna hai far flung area ke extra allowances milte hai

Ha yaar us baat k tension nahi hai at the time of interview we showed them exp we could again show this at the time of joining by salary slips and joining letter thats not a big deal , my problem is with this kind of marks we are borderline have chance of making it for sure but its only a chance so just hope for the best and be positive will get the job in first list only :)
How would you rate it compared to a PO exam, i mean only the aptitude part?..i know rest sections are quite different in both, i have got 175 in written in PO with major chunk of marks coming from apitutde, i.e reasoning, math, eng...!..so do i have chance of clearing CSAT in first attempt considering i dont prepare seriously for the other sections that come?
