guys is there any chance to go into corporate banking through PO ?? are there any past instances ? Or PO is completely for Branch/ retail banking ?? please don't speculate, tell only if you are sure about it.

- I m having more than 4 yrs will not go 4 PO jobs

Guys anyone any idea about the maximum amount that a po will be refunded for rent from the bank? Are we eligible directly after joining?
Current Salary structure in BOM PO:
Earnings:
Basic- 14500
DA- 15921 ( 109.8% on Basic) => check IBA website
HRA- 942.5 ( 6.5% on Basic)==> semi-urban location
Gross Earnings = 31363.5
Deductions:
PF/NPS= 3042
Professional Tax = 200
Gross Deduction = 3242
Net Pay = 28121.5 ==> Take away home
After 15% increment : ( approx )
gross earnings = 37,500 ==> semi-urban location
Net pay = 34,000 ==> Take away home
Those already joined last year==> accumulated arrears roughly=> till june==> 40,000
perks that banks offers normally ==> newspapers allowance, petrol, home rent, furniture( comparatively large allowance),
As per city level compensation differs..

There are so many people who scored just the cut-off or 1-2 marks more than that . is there anyone who missed it by 1,2 marks? i.e. got the marks GEN- 81,80 OBC-79,78.
If PO vaccancies are 33000...what could be d cutoff??

itni saari prediction ho rahi hain toh socha ki main bhi kar dun.....according to all guess work done here maximum marks for interview are 75 nd cut off is 82 marks.....so 82*0.4=32.8 + 75*0.2=15...so cutt off should be 47.8...otherwise why would dey have selected students scoring around 85

I am a future banker of this country about to join in a month. I am not even member of any forum, not even a day I have worked in any bank, not even I knew anything about the 10 bipartite agreement 7 days ago. But now I know one thing, all my dreams, all my aspirations, all of my future, my salary is in hands of people whom I don't even know. It took me just a couple of days to analyse how this wage increment thing works. Sadly, but I studied day and night so that I will not be paid what I deserve. I now understood why my friends were telling me earlier to join any central government Job, but it was me that stood firm with an aim to be a part of Indian banking , I don't want extra holidays for Saturday or any hike in salary, I just want that when I say to others that I am a banker than they should not feel sorry for me. Image of a banker is getting worse day by day and no one is doing nothing for it. I may be wrong but after reading all these articles and comments one thing is certain that all my 30,000 friends joining this year are terrified by these politics and if goes on like this, I feel I have to study again to join any other central gov job next year that gives attractive wages for not doing anything. Why to work in a sector where we are treated partially.

Middle Management:
Scale 2=> require 3+ yrs work ex
Scale 3=> require 3+ yr
Senior Management:
Scale 4=> 3+ yrs
scale 5=> 3+yrs
Top Executive:
Scale 6=> 3+ yrs
Scale 7 => 3+yrs
Now to be at top level, you need 18+ yrs banking experience, then why not every PO becomes CMD of bank==> Big banks like SBI, hve big competition for getting promoted...There are lots of talented PO in the bank hence fight=> bootlicking=> hence to reach at scale 4 takes almost 18-22 yrs bcz of competition..many get retired even before to reached at scale 6..
Now on other side, mid size banks have greater scope here=> get quick promotion than big banks... hence possibility is more here to reach at top level...
