Actually some interview panel take 15 min and other panel 5 min. Some asks subject qstns, some banking and some hr. Some panel very friendly some normal. The main problem here is how do they award marks bcoz some pple prepared for bnking qstns and get subject related ones and for others it is only about him and his family and few banking qstns. Sme panel may award good marks for all and some average. So what i feel is there should be a common interview for all with banking related qstns. Bcoz we are getting into banking field. Bcoz of this i feel there should be normilization for interview. Bcoz everyones interview is different in every aspect. So what are your views on this
My interview went for almost 5 minutes.. But for some it is 10 to 15 minutes.. What does that mean?

Those who are predicting interview marks from duration let me tell you my experience ,in 2015 my interview was of approx 15 minutes of IBPS Po,they gave me 55 in that ,in 2015 of RRB PO was of 5 minutes only and they gave me 61 so never judge an interview by its length ,what they wanna see is confidence nad knowledge that's it, confidence without knowledge is also problematic and vice versa also true .

As usual firstly biometric was done then document verification.
For every person, the interview lasted for atleast 10-12 minutes.
I was not nervous at all. Then my turn came. I peeked thhrough the door and asked if i could come in.
Panel had 2 ladies, 3 gents.
Then the interview started like this:
Mam: ayushi, private me kyun join nhi kia? You are so young. Kya age he tumhari.. Private join kr lete phir aate govt mein..
Me: answered
Mam: agr abhi selection nhi ho paya to?
Me: (smiling) mam ho jaaega.. As my mains went good...i am hopeful..
Mam: then why banking?
Me: mam , i love to interact with people.. That is why
Mam: nooo, aisa mt bolo.. You could have gone for mtech also.
Me:no mam, i was not interested in gate.
Mam: mehnat se drr lgta he?
Me: (i was smiling at this) mam, banking k lie bhi bht mehnat kr rahi hun.... :p
Then sir asked :bilaspur(my hometown in himachal) kis k lie famous he?
Me:deoli fish farm, acc factory...
Sir:wahan koi naya project chal raha he.. Kya he wo.
Me: sir, railway line, aiims, four lane..
Sir: nhi.. Airport.. Kaam start hua uska k nhi..
Me: no sir, abhi nhi
Then again mam asked
Mam:kon kon se states ki do capital hein
Me: himachal and j and k
Sir: hp ki kon kon si he?
Me: sirr shimla and hamirpur(without thinking.. )
There were 3 sirs and all shouted " hamirpur"
Sir: abhi tk saare answers sahi die.. Ab number bhi katenge(they sstarted laughing)
Me: oh sorry sir, it is dharamshala
Sir: haan dharamsala kis OR country ki capital he..??? Kis k lie famous he?
Me: sir famous to dhauladhar and IPLs k lie he(i never heard earlier that dharamshala kisi or country
ki capital bhi he.. Lol)
Sir: wo log aae hein na wahan pe baahr se..
Me: sir Buddhist people
Sir: yes , tibet k log.. Its govt in exile..
Again the same mam
Mam: how many UTs are there? What is the diff between states and UTs..
Me: answered
She gestured towards other members to ask questions..
They asked about banking ombudsman..rd accounts.. Rbi functions..
This is one of the best interviews i ever had..

Since I studied n kendriya vidyalayon, my last question was tel me D motto of kv... I couldn't recall.... : p it is tatvm bushan apavrn smthi: p
Biggest puzzle is wat an interviewer values in each candidate.. A candidate who didn't ans 3-4 questions can still get more marks than one who answered all.. !!!!!! Interview valuatio is really a tough nut to crack..
