I m born a middle class general category student...Since childhood I have been pushed n made to run after grades...I have internalized meritocracy or the meritocracy has domesticated me as its pet..say as u like...its not my fault tho it's what I was taught...now I have been like this most of my life n wud have continued to b the same if only for this silly consciousness... Reservation is shit I thot...I cudnt think otherwise given my unemployment situation...but then I realised what it really meant...it meant to "make way" for someone...I was struck with lightning...how cud such a noble,almost sacred idea strike the mind of a savage,selfish beast as human...how cud he think out of himself, as if one can really comprehend reality on Earth...it was hard to believe..thank God or whomever u like that all beings weren't like me n they did "make way". Now to not give a solution wud turn this into a mindless banter..so here I am stating the cliches again...as a student of science I have been taught to strengthen my basics...so some basics-: 1 strengthen education..so that substandard institutions don't produce substandard engineers like me...or any other mindless profession we r pushed into. 2 increase the no. Of jobs as to match the supply n demand..so that our youthful aspirations don't die 3 in long term, rationalise this quota system so that ppl aren't able to misuse such a noble idea n abuse reservation PS - nothing new,read only if u got time
