So some gyaanis are saying that they will vote Cong next time to prevent privatization ...Ok its your choice but i am surprised that so many here believe that Cong or third front govt can prevent privatization ...Its was Cong govt which started privatization in 1992 ...Yes when BJP comes speed of privatization increases and when Cong comes it decreases but that does not mean any party can prevent what is going to happen in coming years ..Every bank ..every PSU will be privatized and you know what weaker the govt higher the speed of privatization (govts in 90's) ..So rant all you want ..choose any leader or party ...In less than 2 decades all PSB's and PSU's will be privatized and almost all perks of Govt jobs (SSC) will be eliminated ..

In my view...Privatization is nt d solution bt giving more autonomy to psb's r...I knw tht we as a bank po aspirant cant do much ri8 nw..no one is gonna give attention to it...i'm nt talkng abt tht idbi shld be privatized or nt??thts nt business ri8 nw nd my thnkng will nt effect d govt. decision..so its waste of time thnkng abt it...bt we shld atleast thnk on this issue tht is it really necessary to privatize a bank...banking is very imprtnt pillar of our economy...nd hw a govt. which cant solve d prblm of a psb..can run a govt effectively...rbi nd union govt. r trying well bt they need to do more thn tht
Our country has higher degree of income inequality...richer people r becoming more richer...it is also true tht private banks can bring economic growth in d banking sector at a faster pace...but these private banks hav d sole motive of profit maximization...they r nt gonna care fr d need of poor people of our country...Also,private banks always hesitate to invest in infrastructure of d country & this is one of d role of psb's frm its inception & bkz of this most of d loans given by psb's turn into npa's too...so govt. needs to look after this problem... tht y these r happening at all... bkz thez r hampering our economy...we need to obtain a balance...there shld nt be complt privatization but at d same time banks shld be given sufficient autonomy to operate without much govt. interference...

100+ scorers in ibps po v is greater than ibps po iv(analyzing po iv threads in different sites)....in ibps po iv maximum people in the range of 80-90.but this year few members got below 80.none of my friends got below 85. So a border score candidate can get a job only if the ratio is 1:2 or 1:2.5. What u say guys...
Now, all those laughing at the IDBI petitioning, please do not join any PSU bank and join some ICICI or AXIS instead. Don't be a hypocrit. All of us while applying for ibps had this vested interest in mind, that whatever bank we get it would be a govt bank. Had ibps been recruiting for axis n Icici 90% of these people and even those hypocrits (supporting IDBI PRIVATIZATION) would not have applied for this exam. And please for INDIA's sake don't call it hypocrisy. Jats asking for OBC isn't hypocrisy. Promoting secularism and casteism at the same time isn't hypocrisy. If the government could be hypocrit enough to change the dynamics of the game midway, we too can be petitioning against that, no hypocrisy in it.
