Can anyone exactly explain me how gen cat have 50% as it seems gen have 44 %(from what i have calculated) not 50 % of the total vacancy allocated
I don't want to debate on the topic of reservation but when I read that reserved category candidates are backward that is why they need reservation, I am unable to understand the definition of backwardness. (Pls correct if I am wrong and forgive me if I hurt someone) The recruiting body has kept the same criteria for all candidates, it mean all candidates should be graduate for applying in these recruitment exams. If a sc/st candidate and a general candidate have same education than why sc/st candidate need low marks to pass the same exam? I don't think so that they are having low quality education, as government is providing various scholarship benefits in all government institutions. Also most of the private institutions are also giving scholarship to sc/st candidates. They have reservation too in admission to various reputated education institutions like IITs, AIIMs etc. As this topic is a endless discussion and everyone knows that this reservation laws need to be amended, which is not possible as no political party want to lose the vote bank. The sudden cancellation of reservation lead to civil war in this country, the thing that government can do is to reduce little quota gradually. And the main thing to do is to provide the best quality primary education so that they are capable to progress without quota.

i belong to obc and m against reservation though m not that fool ki agar reservation mil rha h to uska fayda bhi na uthauo.......u guys raise ur voice against reservation , i and so many guys like me will b with u in removing reservation from our country........

@ohhmygod wht u r doing general candidates can do it too.in country like india it is easy to create diffrences .the real challenge is on uniting the people. If u are a real man put some endeavour on strengthening the society otherwise enjoy ur quota but dont fragile the already fractured society
