This post is to better understand the allotment procedure in the UNRESERVED list.

Suppose EXIM bank has one UR seat this year. And UR final cut off is 48. There is one General candidate A with a final score of 65, and another SC/OBC candidate named B who clears UR cut off with a final score of 48. Who will get that UR EXIM seat if it is the first preference for both?

I was thinking what if I go into reserve list. because i'm on border line with 86.5(obc). my first pref BOB.

if cuttoff for obc is 45. I scored 44.9. I'm in reseve list and im one of top 10 candidates in list.

now, Some 15 candidates from BOB left after a month  for some reason.

So, on next itteration for allotment, will I get seat in BOB?

also,

If yes, then dont you think its still better to be in reserve list and get top bank instead of scoring cuttoff score and get vijaya bank?!

Just a thought.
