Ok..i was a silent observer for many days but now i am worried after reading the comments of marks and all, it seems majority have scored above 100 still it's shocking that cut off was merely 76. I am a general candidate with a score of 96 good interview, not gonna ask my chances coz u never know what's in ur destiny just wait for 38 days. All d best people.

Hii frndz, day before yesterday I hav posted abt andhra bank panel intrvw sir who said abt the pattern of intrvw. Ystrdy evng two guys hav come to my inst who r selected for IT officers in PNB and CANARA in IBPS 2014 to thank my inst chairman. I asked them if they knew anything about vacancies. Pnb guy said the vacancies in pnb are around 1.5 times last year vacancies and total may exceed over 16,000. But Canara guy said the vacancies are same as last year in Canara bank i.e 2000. But he said total may exceed 20,000 vacancies. As he has some explanation for his words and he heard the discussions of his higher officials(don't know I could believe him or not) his reasons are: 1) IBPS introduced 3 tier process to recruit the guys who hav gd caliber.2) huge retirements in 2017 so they r recruiting in high number this year.3) difficulty level has really increased nd sectional cutoffs as well because only 1:2 ratio for intrvw. So they eliminated Max guys in written by increasing level of difficulty. They could not intrvw 60,000 guys with 1:3 as it wil b a big burden nd risk fr IBPS. Can I believe them?? Which of them is correct pnb guy or Canara guy regarding total vacancies

Everyone is predicting here about cut off... If written cut off is 76 that means it keeps some meaning, i am assuring you guys who has just 76 numbers in OBC category and if he will get 72 - 75 numbers in interview definitely he will get a job, but in case of General candidate he/she should have 10 numbers more than cut off means 86 plus 65 number in interview then definitely he will get a job...

good mrng all..!! stil the perception of ctoffs hsnt lied down here.. let me tell yu...the vacancies dsnt hav any impact on the final cutoff... based on the vacancies the written ctoff is calculated...so the 76 ctoff and 50 ctoff fr gen/obc and sc are based on vacncies and 1:3 ratio or 1:2.5 if vacncies are mre...thts over..the final cutoff solely depnds on marks of candidates.. so if 76 is minimum then he has a chnce to get selected..heard anythng fairplay policy? yes v humans dont do dat..bt a govt subsidary does dat... so based on last 2year trends for gen +22 above cutoff and +18 above ctoff for obc and sc ppl lands u a job provided u pass in the interview.vacancies dsnt impact the final cutoff 😃 happy to be proved wrng.. 😃 and plz no debates..
