IBPS CWE PO/MT V (2015-16)

Meanwhile, enjoyed match B-) Especially performance by Manish Pandey and Dhoni :-D @oldmonk004 @shashwatmoksh

What is the range of marks I can expect with this interview?

Entered after permission.

Asked to introduce.Question about father's profession.

Then, you have done engg from such a good college. You didn't get placement?

I answered that I have never been interested in software, and those were the offers I was getting. I hadn't even taken computers in 11th for this reason. The lady said, you didn't choose software engineering or you didn't get. Answered that I was eligible for both IT and my own branch E&I. I was just not interested. A panel member on the side nodded and answered it was an interest matter.

He then asked do yo know what is the role of software in banking?

I answered that its 2 fold One to develop softwares to get data and the other is to analyse it.

Then they asked why banking?

Said had read up quite a bit during college debating times, and thats how.

Then the lady asked what is narrow banking and islamic banking.

Explained narrow banking. Asked an example, gave one. Before I could go to Islamic Banking they asked about NHB and who owns it. Said RBI. Again asked who owns it. Said it was a RBI subsidiary, but don't know the exact share distribution between RBI and GoI. Some members nodded then.

Asked about Mudra'S Work- separate from SIDBI, overlapping with SIDBI, or a part of it. And schemes of MUDRA. I mentioned the schemes, they followed up with the limits of schemes. Said correctly about Shishu, messed up the other two. Then I started talking about SIDBI. Said its work is largely development of MSME sector and credit analysis,MUDRA is a fresh gov scheme with a different corpus and its aim is to finance lower spectrum of MSME that can't get credit elsewhere.

Then they asked about bill discounting. Before I started answering, said explain the difference between bill discounting, purchase, and refinance.

I started explaining saying bills were negotiable instruments, the man asked instrument or document, said instrument, he again asked instrument or document. Said it was part of NI Act. He asked the difference between bills and cheques. I said the nature is similar, except the format, bills are on stamp paper, then he asked what about cheques, I said cheque leaf. Did the remaining anaysis on his question as much as I could. Then they said Thank you. You can leave now. Said thank you and left.

Interview wholly in English. In between once the panel members laughed a bit. Members who weren't asking question would nod sometimes. Otherwise a pretty technical atmosphere. Toffees were kept but wasn't offered one.

Can any experienced candidate tell me in which month i can expect actual joining if i get selected? I m asking it because if i have the estimation of time i can use it somewhere.

pls koi patna wale bhi apna experience share karo.....pls  pls
