que-1 ok, u did civil engg, then u worked in software industry, and now u are applying for banking. 'aap karna kya chahte ho life mein'?
ans-question was bolt from the bluend i was utterly confused. Somehow, i replied it
que-2 why should we hire you?
ans-2 i just did a copy /paste of indiabix.com interview answers.and said' Sir, i am hard working, talented, honest etc...
que-3 ok u said u r honest. How do you define 'Honest'?( cross questioning TIPS- try to refrain from cross question)
que-4 why did u leave pvt sector. ?
ans-4 sir, i am inclined towards govt. job(another mistake)
que-5 why , govt job kaamchori hain sarkari naukri mein isliye...
ans-5 No, sir its not like that try to pacify them but i couldn't convince them.
que-6 what is profile of bank po?

Que1. you did civil engg. why don't u try in your own field?
Ans- undoubtedly there is a huge scope in my own field even i tried a lot but couldn't succeed in. i couldn't score good marks in my GATE exam altough i prepared well. so i had decided i would go with banking sector.(they look convinced)
que2 why banking?
ANS- i have been doing prep for banking for the past 1 year so i have developed a strong interest towards banking.
que-3 then tell me what is bank? ans well explained.
que 4 why do banks sell insurance product? ans- i said its business activity and business is always done in order to make profit
que-5 who is national security advisor. and then ask who is the cm of jammu and kashmir que-6 tell me the names two banks recently rbi announced two D-SIB BANKS.
ans- well explained.

que - how many in india received noble prize till now?
ans - i dont know
que- who is the chairman of rajya sabha?
ANS- DR HAMID ANSARI

now tips for interview- make a rattafication of current affairs and do read history related questions or read 'lucent gk book' (just read speaker of lok sbha who is chief election commissioner these type of questions were asked by interviewer in panel 3)and refrain from cross questioning( for instance if they ask functions of rbi and u say " rbi is banker of banks" then they ask why rbi is called banker of banks) be confident in interview as this is the only way u can get through well in interview. bcoz if u give answer reluctantly then they ask only 3-4 questions and if u give answer confidently then they ask more question good luck to all of u for interview. kuch jyaada bol diya maine maaf kar dena..
From yesterday's BA article can anybody explains what does it mean "But the advantage that you all have this time is that there will be a common interview that will be conducted through IBPS itself, and not by the banks directly.....especially po3 and po4 puys can limelight on it

as per sources from bank prep websites..this year total vaccancies 9-10k...total shorlisted 28-30k...cutoff 85-88

I got 64 in preliminary exam....
I don't understand how this happened I attempted 125 questions.
