I am trying to use a Kaplan GMAT prep CD-rom and receive the following error message:

"This application requires the MCI for Windows to be installed. Please install the MCI drivers as instructed in your user manual."

I have spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to resolve this problem!! My best friend tells me that there are others who have encountered this issue, but I haven't found a solution.:sneaky:

My friends have tried running the program with the XP/2000/95 compatibility wizard - no luck.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium with SP1 (64 bit)...

Where can I download Windows MCI drivers for Vista?

Any help is much appreciated!!

Had similar issues. Read that you should use XP sp2 not Vista 64. After reading and being new here I suggest the GMATprep software from mba.com. They're free and show a true picture of what the test is going to be like.
