i am an engineer and hsve completed 1 yr in a IT Company. i am techie at heart but have realised that professional growth of techies is very slow and its the managers who rule and get fat pay packages.
i have a small scale family business related to manufacturing n retail. theres no hierachy of managers or something.my dad mainly deals with labourers and the clients are local firms.
i hav 2 ques:
1. will working in own setup qualify as work experience as reqd by premier mba institutes or does one have to work in mncs only to show work exp?
2. is mba only for growth in corporate sector or will it help my case for understanding the market n probably expanding the clientage of my own business
