Well, i have had first hand discussions with ppl who have been there and done that.....first of all if u wanna go to australia u have to take in mind these things...

The envirovnment,
The Cost,
The ROI (Return of investment).

As far as envirovnment is concerned the ppl out here with whom i have had a talk say that overthere it gets depressing and lonely if u have spent ur life in metropolitan cities like mumbai in india....the streets get deserted at sunset, with no ppl for long distances....might be a welcome relief for some who want to get away from the crowd....anyways it depends on u.

The Cost...Certainly Australia turns out to be cheaper as compared to other countries....but still it will need atleast 12-15 lakhs....which seriously atleast i can't afford.

The ROI .....well this is the saddest part......unlike other countries u don't get to work in australia after finishing ur degree.....(most cuntries allow u to work for 1 yr)...
And inorder to work(after all u want to get all that money back with intrest which u invested in that phoren degree) u need to immigrate....and as far as i know most MS degrees are of 1.5 yrs...so basically this doesn't give any weightage to ur Immigration application as they need atleast 2 yrs education in australia to be eligible.
U might get 5 points for studying in some regional university but then the quality won't be as good as that of the other universities...

All in all take everything into consideration and then make ur choice...

Hope my post has been useful...
