Job Description Focusing on key initiatives in Smart+Connected Cities, the Product Manager will be responsible for end to end lifecycle, plus inbound and outbound activities, driving requirements, working with engineering to develop product, from inception, development, launch, Go To Market enablement, sales readiness, marketing to customer deployments. The Product Manager’s focus will also be in cross-functional activities, working with finance, sales, manufacturing, engineering, eco-system teams, BD teams, cross BU engagement and partner engagement. He/she will also be responsible for working with eco-system team to formulate solution partnerships and drive business results for those partnerships. The ideal candidate will provide product related deliverable's aligned to the overall Smart+Connected Communities vision and strategy for next generation solutions. He/she will be energetic, fast in tackling multiple projects, responsible for researching market opportunities, performing ROI/forecasting/competitive analysis, gathering requirements, prioritizing features, setting engineering direction, managing the solution roadmap and developing pricing/packaging strategies. The candidate will work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders in a global and agile environment including strategic partners, sales teams, development engineering, user experience, technical marketing, architects, sales engineers and fellow product managers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, fast in reasoning and in engaging customers, as well as great negotiation skills. He/She will be called upon to represent/evangelize S+CC offering with internal and external stakeholders as well as customers worldwide.
Responsibilities • Work with customers (external and internal), internal teams to gather, synthesize & prioritize requirements • Understand & align products with customer and Quantela strategic and business goals • Deliver innovative/disruptive Market (MRD), Product (PRD) Requirements Documents • Provide product strategy and product definition • Manage the product roadmap along with releases • Perform market analysis, competitive analysis, industry trending, revenue forecasting • Create content for outbound marketing in collaboration with marketing and technical marketing engineers (data sheets, training, technical whitepapers) • Be a product evangelist • Support customer sales engagements, executive briefings • Support RFI/RFP responses
