I got information from someone that hppsc is planning to conduct Has mains in September only. Though I am not sure about the authenticity of the news,but depending upon last year's October shock,the news seems to have some weight.

Prelims result declared.. Cutoff is close to 180 according to old answer key .. Mains is to be conducted from sep 12th according to a newspaper

New draft syllabus for mains uploaded on hppsc website

In the 2014 mains optional papers, was the 5 question pattern followed like earlier for humanities subjects, or was there a upsc like change. If anyone has the link to mains question papers for this year please share. (hppsc site shares only question papers upto mains '13).
