Hi mohinder,

Any idea about the order in which HBS releases invites? Is it based on application submission date (the first applicants get the invites first)?

No boss,
No idea. But I guess the interviews in US are already underway and those in India are scheduled in the first week of December. so they must have sent out most of the interview invites already. But I am not sure of this. Just thinking logically.

Great news.
But folks lets look at this. HBS generally admits students from india who belong to rich families. The latest admit is from a steel baron family. 13000 crore.
Working as a tech asst to CEO is great but lot more easy when its your own company!!.
similarly there is another candidate at HBS this year who claimed to having made billion dollar M&A; deals etc. why because papaji owned a power plant.

so PGs a regular candidate with no such credentials will ever make it HBS.

Big deal? not for this candidate.

Ever wondered how Mittal's son all of tender age is the top man ? Papa's company. It will be same story every where.

A few clarifications here.......

Point-1 I am "Mohinder Rajput" and not "Mohinder Jindal or Mohinder Mittal or Mohinder Singhal or Mohinder Tata". I worked as a Jr Manager at JSW Steel (earlier known as Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Ltd". Therefore, there is no question of me belonging to a Steel Baron family(Like the Mittals, Jindals, Tatas or Singhals).

Point-2 My dad had nothing to do with my becoming Tech. Asst to the CEO and the later invitation from the Chairman to join the Corporate Strategy Group. Hes a simple Metallurgist and works in a small Steel firm in Ludhiana. Theres no link between the company where he works {AND HES NOT THE OWNER THERE....:-)} AND JSW Steel.
I BELONG TO AN UPPER MIDDLE SERVICE CLASS FAMILY.

Point-3 The extra currics that you see in my profile have been built painstakingly at my Alma Mater...Punjab Engineering College over the last 6 years.......

Point-5 HBS does not necessarily take in people who're rich. I know many people who've come from the same background as I.

Point-4 IF I CAN DO IT, ANYBODY CAN.........

No need to get unnecessarily worked up about DI, if you look at his previous posts you would see that all he has is a consistent profile of ranting about any and every college

In his opinion

Cambridge is "poorly rated now" , "campus dull life" "website? lacks life" "save your money and try for better schools, like Insead or LBS. or even M(?H)BS"

Florida Mba "4th tier school", "Are you really so eager to move to the US? phew..." , "this is not a program that offers value for money.", "you all seem to be totally frusto guys desperate to get into america"

In my honest opinion he needs help and counseling.

I believe Mohinder's email has been pretty enlighting in it's own respect, however, I would request you to search inward and ask yourself what are you doing on these pages if a US MBA creates such violent reactions in your soul?

In his moment of achievement, all Mohinder deserves is our universal backing and support, not ranting.
