am studying in the top institution in India. I want to revel something today.There is myth across the country that people studying in top notch institution have excellent studying environment,teachers are very qualified and skilled.And we learn by seeking practicals instead of just chalk and board presentation.Yes,this all is myth.
Let me clarify what is the environment inside the campus:-
1.People are generally more worried about completing their attendance quota instead of understanding the topics what the teacher is teaching.
2.Practicals are considered as a further burden to the present theory course.
3.Almost half of the students are prefer spending time while watching game of throne rather than browsing latest technologies and improving connections with professionals of their field.
4.But yes obviously there are other 10% too,they harness the excellent facilities that are available in their institutes.But they have to do everything by their own or by taking help from seniors.These are the guys who end up with foreign placements.
5.Remaining are just rely on their institutions and tag (yar chal 4th year mai dekh lengay..college placements sy toh job lg hi jyegi).
6.And those guys,who realizes in their 3rd year that they aren't going to get high salary job in future so they starts preparing for IIM's.
7.Those who have a foreign dreams they opt for MS from foreign university.
That's the truth of current higher education system in India in top universities...i don't know who is responsible for that may be the government who doesn't provide a better platform to the students who are coming out from those universities.or may be the students also whose aspirations are very high but the values are little lower.
