Hi all, I took the GMAT today and got a 690 (Q 50 V 34)… I was expecting a 710 (as I was getting in my mocks),so a bit disappointed. So do I need to retake the GMAT assuming if I increase the score by 20-30 points… Comment…

It depends on what kind of B-schools u r aiming for. However top B-schools stress more weigh on you profile than GMAT score. Well 690 is good score. If u r aiming for 750 then retaking is worthy to decide.

hi Anand,
Thanx for ur post....Well, I would be probably aiming for 20-30 top US schools..and a few in europe like HEC/ESADE or Rotman/Ivey in Canada...
I was just wondering if there is any difference between 690 and 700/710..... coz i am not pretty hopeful to hit a 750 (Seeing the trouble they put to a Non-American at times in RC:smile:), but I am sure i can get around 710-720...
Wats ur take !!!
