hi kartik....D should be correct option...."Tubman's" is not correct ---so it leaves us with optioin D and E.....and then its easy dude....

hi all,when the word contemporaries is used it mean people who are contemporary to Harriet tubman,,,, so if we write "harriet tubman's" - it does not refer to a person but a characteristic of tubman....when we are comparing two things it has to be on an equal level. so first three ans options are eliminated in the first go... out of the remaining two-D is the correct ans option beacauseE- uses past perfect(had maintained) along with present perfect(has all the qualities...) which is wrng.open to discussion and feedbackregards...dkny.jakhar

D is correct. E uses incorrect tense and all the others use " 's " which is neither required nor correct.

I will go with (D)

It has to be Tubman not Tubman's ..........and they still have the same respect for him so we won't use the pastperfect form .....

Acc to Manhattan SC correct idioms are: forbid X to Y and prohibits X from Y
A)Though this option doesn't use "forbid X to Y" idiom but conveys the same intent.
B)wrong idiom
C)wordy...unnecessary there be
D)furture tense not required

I will go with (D) again ......(E) seems improper because of the use of the word "that" while in (D) "that" qualifies the word "festivals " which is correct .

OR
You can do it better than me.

which one of the above is correct and why?
