Can someone plz help me see the difference between (D) and (E)?

The OAs are C & C respectively.

Question (1) - what's the difference between options (D) & (C)? I mean what makes (C) "more correct" than (D)?

Question (2) - storm is singular - so i don't think we should have "their" in the answer. We must have "its". So that narrows down the choices to B, C & E.

But i still don't understand the structure used here.

Shouldn't it be not for X but for Y? Instead the answer seems to indicate that the structure is not for X but Y. Plz help!

My picks would be

1. C.
In option D, the use of comma makes the phrase modify 'quota' and not the 'offer' and that's why it is wrong.
2. D
Please provide the OAs

My take::

Option D

As E is wordy as well as dated is not teh approraite word to be used here Also the 'Have been' is incorrect.

My Take is B in this case as others are wordy and verbose where as B is concise
Also the option B has Hospital which is the corrrect usage in this context

2. D
My take::

Option D

As E is wordy as well as dated is not teh approraite word to be used here Also the 'Have been' is incorrect.

Another reason why option E is not the right choice is that because it stresses on CAMEL's domestication. Its not the animal, but the 'Domestication of the given animal' which matters here.

Yeah..OA is (B).

but.. i made a mistake while typing out the question. Option (B) must have "hospitalS".

In any case.. i was under the assumption that GMAT prefers the subjunctive... isn't "requires that" perfectly alright?

Can you plz tell me what's the difference between choices (B) & (E)? thanks a lot!
