Need Information for some institutes giving Training for GMAT in Chennai.
I am employed in CAD domain (3 Yrs), with an Indian MNC, Married.
Want to persue 1 Year MBA program from Instiutes like ISB hyderabad , GREAT LAKES Chennai.
It would be great support if I can get information on more similar B-schools which offer 1yr program and good placements.
My interests of specialisation are finance and services marketing.
Check education times of hindu every week. There are a lot of institutes to help prepare for GMAT. Princeton review seems to be a good choice. Also check 4gmat dot com.

I live near the Princeton Review Coaching Center.
I found it to be very costly.
They are charging 24k for 7 classes of Math and 5 classes of verbal.
Plus 6 months of free online practise
How abt 4GMAT clasroom prep course..?
I was a student of 4GMAT.. scored a 730... please feel free to ask me questions (don't ask me about competitors such as Kaplan or Jambooree) as I do not have any experiences with them.. PR is very bad...

Is there any Chennai study group for GMAT ? Why do you consider PR to be bad?
I wanted 700+ score.. PR will probably get you to 650....again, depends on your aspirations... You need some solid math to get in the 90th percentile.. I got a Q51 (not boasting here!!!) I and could see and feel myself improve my math in 4GMAT...
About the tutors at PR: I just felt they did some reading before the class and taught the group.. Didn't feel convinced.. ended up scoring in 500s the first time.. I am not blaming anyone except myself here because i did NOT do my research carefully (objective self-criticism!!!)..
I strongly recommend you to take demo classes with the prep companies you have shortlisted...because at the end, your GMAT score matters... and choosing the right prep company is crucial...
There's another institue called gmat toppers.How's that? With respect to 4gmat, I think they have 3 centres in chennai, mylapore ,anna nagar and nungambakkam.Which one is really good?I'm not too good in quants and would 4gmat help me in this aspect?
Hey guys there is a GMAT prep company named "semantics". Its seems their verbal is strong. Heard they are conducting a "100 points more workshop for GMAT score improvement" .
GMAT Toppers is pretty decent. My friend took it and he felt it was OK; he had no complaints. I suggest you speak to their representatives.
I would recommend 4GMAT. They are good. visit their site and speak to them. If you want a 700+, 4GMAT will def. help you. The course is a little overwhelming though.

My friend went to enquire at semantics and he told me that they make CAT, GMAT, XAT test-takers sit in the same room!!! I do not know how true it is, but you should definitely do your research.

I dont think so... i went for the workshop it was awesome..i joined for the 10 day to gmat workshop so far so good.... and i didnt see any cat xat student in class.How can CAT,XAT student sit in GMAT class? it sounds funny... i think ur source was bad mouthing...:D

Why do u consider the course at 4GMAT to be 'overwhelming'?can you pls elaborate more on it?Is 4GMAT a type of institute which just brushes up ur basics and takes u to advanced concepts for GMAT?Does it require you to be already strong in ur fundamentals..and is the course schedule hectic...pls elaborate more on all these...would be really helpful.
