Can u please guide me on the best books n resources to prepare for GMAT..

I am still pursuing my B.tech in Comp sc. & want to ask that is work experience too important to get into the best B-Schools in the US. And if yes then how much..

Also does studies abroad need a strong Financial Background.. or are loans available..??

self study
u can start with official guide. this will give u an idea abt the exam and GMAT Q
kaplan material is good
u can find lot of materials online which u can download
also keep visiting forums like PG and other GMAT forums where lot of Q r posted

GMAT Centre
u can also join institute and take coaching on GMAT based on what is avaiable in ur area


Work experience
having a work experience helps in doing an MBA. get a good GMAT Score and then score is valid between 3 to 5 years(depens on institute)

No idea about Kaplan books, you can read about my 760 score at From 610 to 760(q49,v44,5.5) - still can't believe it!
