Most of the GMAT material that you will need.. I got all the soft copies there, but since I prefer reading from a book, I went ahead and bought the books anyways. Search for GMAT and take a look at the results..

To prepare i think the material listed below would suffice. Of course, the alternatives are there but given below is one combination of prep material required for a good shot at GMAT.

1. KAPLAN Premier Edition

2. KAPLAN Verbal Workout

3. KAPLAN Quant Workout

4. KAPLAN GMAT 800.

5. PRINCETON Verbal

6. Official Guide (OG)- 11th Edition is the latest

7. OG- Verbal & Quant separately

8. 1000 SCs, CRs & RCs

9. Saahil's notes, Spidey's notes

10. Monthly JJs

Planning for SPJAT for June'08 Batch..!! Have been away from studies from almost 2 yrs..Can any1 give a preparation schedule for SPJAT..??Should I prepare for CAT or GMAt...??Really in a dilemna.....!!!how to go about it & from where to prepare..?? Any sort of advise, sharing of experinces, links would be of immense help...!!!Pls post soon as exams are round the corner..??

The manhattan gmat prep is good to brush up the basics. Mahattan Sc, rc, critical reasoning, percentile and fractions is available on esnips.

Even I am looking to buy the rest. So if you any idea where to buy it in cal or any other place (apart from ebay) let me know.

you are really doing a great job here .
I appeared for GMAT but managed only 610 ( 47 QA / 27 VA ) / 5.0 . I am really dissapointed . I took IMS material but really can't figure out the english although I am not too bad but somehow I feel that I am missing some link between my ability and a good GMAT score .
Pls suggest some really good material along with approach .

I have been reading different posts and most people have said Kaplan 800 is very good for preparation. I wanted to know if it is really too good, as I googled for it and got some bad responses too :(

So before I invest my money into this book (I already have OG 11ed, and OG verbal+ quant), I wanted to know fair opinions from the people who have used this book. Does this really help in pushing scores.

On esnips, there is a collection of chapters from some kaplan book and they are only for the verbal side. So was wondering if they are from Kaplan 800.

Kaplan 800 is a great book.. The questions, especially SC, are very tough and they really help. So, go ahead and invest in it. Second, I have not seen any material from K800 floating in the internet.. The docs tht u got frm ensips are most likely from the Comprehensive Program.

Hats off to Sekar... What a clear understanding about a newbies requirement... Man You should go to Merchandising domain... What you stated, are the exact things, a guy wanna know, who wanna venture out for GMAT.
