I am about to finish OG11 but still not very comfortable with the Verbal section..
Which one do you think is the next book I should start? Princeton Review or Kaplan?

Hey all,
One of the very frequent questions here is "I got 650 in Kaplan. How much is it in actual?" etc etc. Here is the link to a score estimator. You can put scores in it what you got in different tests. Based on the database records of what people had got in actual GMAT with those scores in mocks, it calculates your score.

Thanks.

If you are not comfortable with Verbal, I suggest stay away from Kaplan for now. Take on 1000 SCs, 1000 RCs and 1000 CRs.

Recommendation of number of tests is really up to each individual. But, usually, sitting for more than 4 hours continuously with full concentration becomes very tough without enough practice.

So, my suggestion is, after you are clear with your fundamentals and comfortable with your accuracy rate, sit for few practice tests to judge whether you are able to concentrate fully for the entire exam. Initially, you will be not. So, you can appear on more practice tests to get full confidence that you will not make any mistake because of lack of concentration and you will be able to answer all the questions according to your satisfaction.

So, sit in practice tests in as many as you can. 10 should be a good random number.

hi deba.. congrats on the score.. would like to know, if u studied on ur own:

a) how much time u took before u took the gmat
b) how many hrs per day was ur quality study time
c) did u manage this on ur own, or did u have a study circle..

Hi All,

I need some help with the following:

DS 1000
----------
I am working on the 1000 DS series questions. I feel that some of the answers given in the document are not correct. Has anyone faced a similar problem? Is there an answers documents with all correct answers?

GmatScore.com
-------------------
I tried the free Quant test on GmatScore.com and am very disappointed with my performance. Has anyone else here tried it? Is it of the same level as the GMAT?

Any info on the above would be helpful.

Thanks.

Rahul
