GMAT Prep Material 2023

Hi,

OG 11th edition is costing me around 1600 bucks. Could someone pls tell me should I buy the book or wait for the 12th edition (I am not sure when the 12th edition would be released - forgive my ignorance )?
I am planning to take GMAT after 4-5 months. Pls suggest.

OG updates usually come around June/July. that wud put you in a spot of bother isn't it??

Go ahead with the OG11. i wud not expect dramatic differences anyway.

OG 10th edition final version came out in 2000.

OG 11th edition hit the markets in 2005.

OG 12th edition ????

I donno whats the fuss with this edition thing!! Its like kids waitin to get the latest PS3 on thanksgiving!

What I wud suggest is do the OG. I had OG 10...which i printed on my office printer...not even the entire book..only verbal!!
It may upset some of you...but it really doesn't matter...it ain't gonna change dramatically anyways (GMAT). The most stupid thing to do wud be to wait!! Get the ball rolling....some action is whats needed!!!
I somehow feel that people don wan to start off the prepping and so they indulge into gatherin unnecessary reources....keep it simple...
If you really want to wait...what I would suggest is finsh off the OG 10...get a xerox...and by the time OG 12 comes (if it ever comes in near future) you wud be way ahead...why don't you start doing it today and finsh it off in a month....thats what most top scorers do here.

I hope you get the message...ACTION!!

Dont have great hopes with verbal 25/30 in CAT :nervous: . Newayz willing to give a shot at GMAT

Things are going great till now, but stronlgy feel a need do MBA for future growth.

Perticularly interested in ISB & IIMA exe MBA, so need some guidence on GMAT.

Just don't know how to begin & where to start.

Pls advice/suggest.

the best way to get info is google it....but as psycho suggests...
browse mba.com, google GMAT...and also read some blogs...usin google blog search....there are many gud blogs....
and please do that quick...so that u can start ur prep!!

there are plenty of resources too...one day of browsing here and there will giv u ample info...

infact PG has so many threads on this thing...read them!!

Back to the haunts, Guys if someone can guide me to PowerPrep tests, I have the latest free GMATPREP which i downloaded off MBA.com, where would I find the old ones? I hope sharing them won't be illegal.

Desperately looking for them.... 😁

Dear Abhi,
circumstances are unfortunate or may be you banged about it li'l late.....

I am afraid POWER PREP wont help you.
Please understand this.
PowerPrep has major repeats from OG11.

It is advised to do PowerPrep tests first and then OG 11 & then GMAT Prep.

If you have not covered OG11 much then you still have time...
stop right there.
& take Power Prep.
