Hi All,
**I am very new to this blog, If similar post already exists kindly excuse me.

My Question: I am currently working in IT for MNC company for past 4yr. I am planning to purse EMBA(1yr full time) in india. Can any one please help me out in colleges which offers 1yr full time EMBA and minimum GMAT score required for the same?

Thanks in advance

Suresh

Hi All,
I am currently working in IT for MNC company for past 4yr.

Let me hazard a guess which MNC.....Infosys?? Phew..a real toughie:-o

but tats not my question

Here are my 2 cents :)
if u asking for EMBA then I believe many IIMs if not all have this course..but the average GMAT cut-off is very high for them(arnd 710-720)..+ u wd need a min of 5 years of wrk exp at the time to join the college..

are there any colleges apart from IIMS and ISB which offers 1yr emba with gmat score?

A few options known to me are mentioned below

1. Great Lakes
2. S. P. Jain
3. IMT
4. Europe Innovation Business School

Any idea wat should be the minimum GMAT score required for this colleges?
I have app 6yrs of experience in IT.

thanks

A tentative idea can be derived from below. For Great Lakes and S.P.Jain the GMAT score required is somewhere in excess of 650. IMT,Dubai requires a TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) and 79 (internet based) or 6.0 for IELTS. EIUBS requires a GMAT score of minimum 500.

However all the above colleges consider a lot of other factors like academics, work experience, recommendation letter etc. before arriving at the final result.

It is a new college supposed to be operational from this year. One year MBA program will be held in Belgium and India

Here is a list of all such schools:

@[597162:ntsha] Well, it depends ! If you are considering only India, then it might be helpful as there are few colleges which takes GMAT score ex. IMT, Ghaziabad. All the other colleges would ask for work experience which is mandatory for a good MBA. I have PM you my mail id. If you need any further clarifications or have questions, do ask me.

Hi
m in my 4th yr of b tech (mechanical branch) and got placed in TCS. As i dont have any intrest in mechanical, i found computer software, programming intrested and want to build my career in IT world. i want to pursue master degree too as only bachelor wont let my career go to much height. for master i prefer doing MBA. but i am really confuse to give CAT or GMAT? do MBA without work exp or after working in TCS for 2 yr?? its my peak time to select certain path which would set my career.
PLZ suggested smthing guyz,i really want to sort out things better..
as recently i read about MBA in IT and in SYSTEM.plz explore this option also for me for doing MBA in certain fields as i ave very low knowledge about various options in MBA which have good future in it..
Thanks for ur support(in advance)

@Shel04 : Hello, I think you should have atleast 3-4 years of experience before you can opt for an MBA in states. I ain't sure about CAT because I had appeared once when I was in Final year and I found it tough. To understand MBA, you need to understand corporate and professional life. I'd suggest you join TCS and then try for MBA after 3 years or so. Hope this helps.
