Hi guys,
Rearding calls I have no idea as of now but let me assure you that the calls to seats ratio is most likely the same, although i can't confirm.But let me assure you its not that"almost everyone who applied is called" . situation. The low cutoffs are well explained already i guess.

Regarding goans, only Xat cutoff is lowered for them by 10 points , that too only for GD/PI , and not for Final list.I think my batch has about 15 Goans .

I think some of us who were there on PG.com last year also had posted our GD/PI experiences in a tread.

Congrats to all call getters.Give ur best effort in the GD/PI.I havent applied for GIM.now I m repenting for that (they havent extended the dates too :huh: )

Nirma ends calls at 87
KJ extends dates and im kicked our
(and believe me i had filled this forms just to take care if i had a bad day in CAT)

SNAP 57

But Over confidence after the paper i dont fill up anything other than SCMHRD

NMIMS i hav score of 79 they end calling at 81

XAT 79.94

I was Taken by the easy quant and went in to score more in it got 92 in it but got 44 in english

GIM ends calling at something like 80.4+


I hav not performed exceptionally bad in any of the tests nor exceptionally well maybe can see a consistency i hav fillled up BIM and LIBA
atleast one call somehow i want to atleast have a chance to fight till finish

Hi all,

Got a call from GIM 😃
XAT percentile is 90.12
GD/PI venue is Kokata on 12th March

GD/PI for KJSomaiya is in the same date (12th March) in Kolkata
(CAT percentile 97.22)

So plz suggest me something? Should I request them to change the schedule?? Will they do that??

Which institute is better GIM or KJSomaiya???

Confirmed news from the Admissions office is that Total number of calls is 1000 this time. Out of this only 60 people have qualified under the Goan minority rule(Xat cutoff lowered by 10 %).

anyways, to your question, gim and somaiya wud be at similar level in terms of ranking, somaiy has the advantage of being in mumbai.. industrial capital of india...

i applied to gim ie. completed all online process but did not send the fees coz i wanted to wait but then i wasnt able to apply
and guess what i have a call isnt that weired?????????

whats the problem??? u got a call dude... abt the fees for goa, if u did not pay, how did u register? as far as i remember, u need to take a printout n send a dd with it to goa... rt? or was it a form to be bought n sent? in anycase, u have paid the fees.. coming to you, if u took a printout and sent it, u sent it with a dd..

if u did not send it, well, call them and ask ... maybe u do have a call and maybe they will accept a little late payment of fees..

as far as the legal validity... every online result has had those or similar lines.. so quit worrying.. remember, managers are also taught, even expected, to grasp opportunity by both hands and make the max use...
