Is there anyone who has qualified for GD/PI from both XAT and CMAT but got selected when the result through xat declared ?????
Avinash till now hw many are set to leave GIM from the 1st list???
Any approx number???
And all vacant goes to CMAT list????
Will there be any Wait list for CMAT?????
1. I would suggest you all not to think so much. The queries will never end.
2. You have got a call. Now work hard on converting it.
3. As i have told so many times, there is no fixed number. Everything will be based on merit.
4. We can't be sure of exact number right now. It will be clear after 16th April.
5. Suppose for example, 70 people opt out from 1st list. And 20 people are selected, then these 20 get into the list first. The remaining y number of waitlist through cmat is combined with the xat waitlist. And the top 50 get in. And this way movement will keep on happening.
P.S : Start preparing for GD/PI now.

"Abhishek
We had sent couple of mails to you asking you to get back with your CMAT Roll no and score. But we did not receive any reply from you
GIM"
but i did not receive any such email and i also filled the details on google docs.. I have replied to this mail. SENIORS PLEASE HELP!!!..

are buses or cabs available from mapusa or panjim to the campus at 6-7 in the morning..? or would it be safe if i come to the sanquelim and then come to the campus in the morning..

Attach your CMAT Scorecard with it. And mail them requesting for a slot. Hopefully, things will be fine.

You can get accomodation at Sanquelim also. There is a JK Lodge.
Wait for few days. I will get back on this. Would also enquire from the management if acomodation is possible inside the campus itself.

Can you tell me about the guys who have attended their GD/PI through XAT and are also eligible for GD/PI through CMAT.......You have already told that they will not be called again for GD/PI but what about their result.... will their result come along with the CMAT guys after GD/PI through CMAT or it has already come and those who were not their in the first merit list are in the Waitlist or Rejected.

how to start preparing for gd/pi
ne areas we need to work on??
plz giv some tip Avinash sir :)
1. First of all heartiest congratulations to all those who have got a mail for GD/PI. 
2. I know how it feels to receive that mail, even more so when you know you are at the edge of just clearing the cut off.
3. But now comes the more difficult part as now the competition is amongst the best.
4. A word of motivation for those who have just cleared the cut offs --> Last year when i had scored 77 percentile and came to know later on that this was the cut off, i was really tensed about my chances of getting through.
5. But honestly speaking once your name has appeared in that list everyone is almost on the same page.
6. Now the important factors would mostly be based on your acads, work ex(GIM has a good mix of fresher and work ex candidates) and above all your performance in GD PI.
7. For GD/PI -->
a) Brush up all the current topics, business trends, mergers and acquisition, budget, etc.
b) For PI the questions would pertain to your grads, your Final year Project, Your work ex and obviously the HR questions - Why MBA, Why GIM, etc..
It would be good if you mail once more with all details : Name , CMAT Roll No , GIM ID (CMAT) , CMAT RANK , CMAT Score along with the scorecard attached.
