do we have to choose the specialization in the second year itself? what if am not sure about it now...if the panel asks it can i say them that i havent decided on it as yet...i'll decide it in the second year...
or will it make a bad impression that i am not even sure about the specialization...

NO. It won't make any bad impression.
Specialisation is taken in the 2nd yr. So you can very well say that, you would decide at later on.

It is ok if you don't get the print out of the email if you haven't received it.
You can get the print out of the page of result from the Log In of GIM Website. That will do.
But check all your spam folder and the alternate email id as well. You may have got the mail there as quite a few people got in spam and in their alternate email id.

1. CSR is Corporate Social Responsibility Program that we as students need to undertake in the 1st year.
2. A group of 5 to 6 students is associated with a NGO or a self help group or an organization working for the welfare of the society. This group of students helps the NGO in its work.
3. GIM is pretty strict about this and makes sure that the students are actually working for the organization.

That is the default message showing as of now IF You log in through GIM ID of CMAT.
Request you not to worry and focus on CMAT Exam. All the best.

You may not be asked a lot of technical question from finance. If you say you are interested in finance, you should expect some basic questions...more around your rationale of taking finance. expect to be asked "what do you understand by finance? why finance? given your background, how does finance fit in to your scheme of things?" and maybe a couple of questions on Fin basics and general Economic environment and recent news bulletins.
Entrepreneurship is not a specialization offered here and some might even say it is the anti-MBA. so be prepared to answer, why MBA if you aim at entrepreneurship. give just reason reasons as to how, in your plan, MBA fosters entrepreneurship.
you ought focus more on the "why MBA" type of questions rather than those specific to specialization. ATB.

I have a problem regarding the documents. The college which I've graduated from, hasn't given me my final mark-sheets yet. The authorities said they had changed the software which stores all our students' marks and information, and while transferring the information, many errors occurred. Like, when I received my mark-sheet, it showed me as Failed in one subject, in which I've passed. I had to return the mark-sheet for correction. So, the issue is, I won't be getting my corrected mark-sheets before 1st March (my interview date) in any case. But the authorities said they will provide me with an official letter stating that I've indeed passed and graduated from the college. Will this document do?

As per the trend of last year, the process is usually :
1. GD - lasts for around 15-25 mins
2. Followed by GD write up- You need to sum up up your GD and write the important points. Thought clarity,content and flow of thought is checked.
3. PI - varies from 10-15 mins to 30-40 minutes from person to person.
As soon as your interview is over, you are allowed to go.
You should be out of the hall in less than 5 hours even if you are the last one to be interviewed.

Yes, the panel will be same through out the process.
Everyone will be interviewed individually by all the panels present.
