It depends.

If you have heavy work ex, then you may be asked more on the work ex part. But still, you make be asked a question or 2 on your acads.

At least go through the project you did and have some basic ideas of all the important topics. Going in detail is not required at this moment.

I have following doubts regarding the center-

I have to be at the center at 8.15AM
Can i be issued accommodation at the institute if I reach one day prior?
If not then is any way of accommodation nearby is available?
I am supposed to reach sanquelim airport around 9PM on 27th.
What mode of transportation i should choose so I will reach sanquelim safe at night?
Can any of the seniors please exchange contact numbers so I get a better idea about it?

2. College won't provide any accomodation as far as trend goes. I will still enquire and let you all know.

3. Sanquelim town is around 3 Km from the campus.

4. There are few hotels at Sanquelim but not so good. Will enquire about it and then update.

5. You may also chose to stay at Panajim or Old goa and then reach campus early morning next day as you will be reaching Airport at night. And everything gets closed here at Sanquelim after 9 p.m.

Hi, this is regarding the documents required for GDPI. I hae not yet received my original XAT score card. I know I can carry the print out of the score card but still the original will be better and I will need it sometime anyway.

So I just want to know if everyone else has received their score cards and does someone know who I should contact regarding my score card. A phone number or e mail Id will be appreciated.

It takes time for XAT Score Card to reach you in hard copy.

The print out of the soft copy is as good as a hard copy. So you need not worry at all about that.

Try to focus only on the GD/PI Preps at this crucial point of time. Just a week to go. All the best.

Sanquelim town is around 3 Km from the campus.

There are few hotels at Sanquelim but not so good. Will enquire about it and then update.

But you can find some good hotels at Bicholim which is about 10 km from the campus or at Mayem lake which is some 14 km from the campus.

You can get the pilots for conveyance or even cabs. But try to talk and arrange for the same on the previous day only.

Yes, JK International Lodge is there. It is some 3 Km from the Campus.

Will enquire about it and get back to you by EOD.

How much time the whole procees will take. Last year for the last person it was over by 3 hours. My timing is at 8.30 AM, so i think iw ill be free by latest 12.30/1.00. What is your opininon, Avinash.

Generally, going by the trends, the entire process should get over in approximately 3 hours.

However, if you are making plans, it is always advisable to keep some buffer time, just in case things do not go as planned. That would save you from a lot of potential hassles.

What is the status of candidates via CMAT? Is GIM going to create a separate consolidated shortlist for candidates through XAt and CMAT?

We understand, it is not the best of the situation. Please be advised that the admissions team is working on it. There were some technical issues because of which the process got little delayed.

We shall update you as soon as we get some more information on this.

If you have a XAT score of more than 76.48%ile (we know of a puy who has got a call on this score), you would get a call in all likelihood.

Focus on your GD/PI preparations. All the best.

GIM will come up with a separate shortlist for candidates who have applied through CMAT.

The GD/PI process will be held separately once the CMAT results are out.
