what are my chances with such below average profile?? i want to know the ratio of intake of freshers and experienced...will GD be a case study or on a general topic plz help
Your profile isn't below average. You've got decent 10th and 12th scores, and a good XAT percentile, so there's no reason you shouldn't be able to convert. The ratio of freshers to people with work experience is quite healthy. Even I am a fresher.
GDs are usually general. At least last year, they were general. The topics can be specific, such as Food Inflation and all, but no case studies normally.
sir do i have to fill any kind of form thr in gd/pi like why mba,sop etc.
a) Please don't call us sir.
b) Nope, you won't have to fill any of those kind of forms during GDPI, but you might want to have answers to those questions ready because they can be asked in the interview.

i am waiting for gd pi to start..i think we shud now start gd pi...instead of just celebrating the calls...coz it will not matter if we nt convrt it

2. If anyone is above 76.48 and has applied to GIM through XAT, don't worry about the mail. You would get a call for sure.
3. 76.48 is based on the figures given by you people only.There may be a difference of few decimals. Let the link be updated on website by tomorrow.
4. Don't discuss about same slots, places too much now. Let it be restricted to FB Group.

1. GD is not an elimination round.

3. Scores of XAT is converted out of 50. e.g you got a 99%ile and 35 marks and other gets a 80%ile and 25 marks.. So scores out of 50 will be 17.5 and 12.5. We don't know what will happen this time. But this is the usual process that is followed.

Well, I guess the 1st point mentioned by Avinash itself answers the first part of the second query( I suppose he initially wanted to know how much percent of candidates are eliminated in the GD round in case its an elimination round). And yes, I suppose if you don't have any work experience then you would not get any marks in that category.
