Goa Institute of Management is happy to announce its Final Lists for the PGDM 2012-2014 batch.


Many of you would have got the mails. The list will be put up later. Congrats to all Final Converts!!!

Some Facts:
  1. If you are in the final convert list, you will receive a hard copy of the call letter shortly and the further instructions will be mentioned in the same.

  1. Waitlisted people will be sent the mail after few days.



For any queries from now on kindly post here and we shall be happy entertaining them.

Some Rules:
  1. Kindly do not ask why you did not get through, as this is subjective and depends on a lot of factors including your interview and past record.

  1. No bad language against Institute, Current students , Alumni or future students will be tolerated, and is any such incident happens it will be informed to the moderator and the thread will be closed.

1)In addition to the above charges you need to plan between Rs. 3500/- and Rs. 5000/- per month for meal charges depending on choice of food. A minimum number of meals at the hostel cafeteria are compulsory as agreed
to by the Student Health Committee

--- what exactly this means?On what basis is the breakup done?

2) At the time of registration
you are required to pay Rs. 5000/- by RTGS/NEFT transfer only which will
be credited to your RFID card and can be used by you to make payments in
the cafeteria, photocopying etc.

-- What is dis RTGS/NEFT , can smbdy decode this process please

3) no mention about refunds , if one wants to cancell the seat taken?

4)The mail says that classes begin from 2 July, but we have to be there for the registration from 11 June. (And also that there will be an orientation prog. in b/w). Does this mean that once we reach the campus there, let's say on 10th June, our session officially commences? Or will there be a break between 11th June and 2nd July?

5)You indicate your acceptance by paying the sum of Rs.1, 99,000/- by
April 16, 2012; and
You pay the balance second term fees of Rs.1,57,000/- by May 2, 2012;
and register on June 10, 2012;
------ is this is the basic fee or this includes hostel/misc fee
do we have to pay extra fee above this for mess.hostel/laptop/etc

Seems only ppl with 90+ XAT score are only selected. Congrates to you guys, you deserve the same. :)
And Avinash, does no mail means a reject? You said waitlist candidates will be informed after few days, what about the rejected candidates? Will anything be put up on the web site?
