Some days back , praful patel was saying that lufthansa and singapore airlines will be using the a 380 , in the sector of south east asia to us ... and in case of an emergency , would be needed to land in india ... as delhi airport has a runway of length 3.85 or so and a width of 45 metres ... the length is fine but the width needs to be increased to 60m
that they are planning to do by 2007 ... so that atleast emergency landings are possible

And if u were tracking the airline industry for sometime, u must know that ordering and taking delivery are two different things. My rough estimates, delivery schedule for A 380 are booked till 2010. Nt sure abt the exact dates. hwever, i m sure emirates have the biggest lot of all followed by singapore airlines.
Guess this keeps thing calm at the royal capital... And Aspire I don mind being counted as a Vella.. No comments though on a public forum.. Don want to get banned after arn 450 posts..

I heard the classes are from 15th , It would have helped if someone could tell what exactly is going to be covered in those classes .. we will do it on our own here ...
I will reach there on the 18th so 19th se i can attend classes till 22nd... whatever is left out some dear friend who has attended classes can play guru ... and chaitanya is banking on rajgopal as he is some kind of quant god ... so no worries ..
Shed the logic that u are engineers and u don need them. And this is based on my experience at GIM.
My experiece at GIM says that as an engineer you will definitely be having an edge over others in subjects involving Quants but that definitely doesn't mean that you do away with the tutorial. It will only make your ride smoother.

The last 3 scores in Quant I and II has also gone to Engineers. 😉 Its just that if one thinks that being an engineer, he don require anything else in Quant, booom the royal scores are waiting for him. And othereise its an edge but can be mitigated fast if one does give proper attention.
Tendulkar may be the best, but boy doesn he require nets... This says all..

Couldn't agree more. Never said let go of the tutorial. By the way, me not sure abt the last 3 scores, not sure if I can find a non-fudged excel sheet now.

Even i said the same thing, And wat i wanted to convey that Not all Engies are best at quants, depends on how good u have been with nos. We had ppl of all kind with toppers like ya and 5 pointers like me. So thats solves the case and closes the issue.

Hi Friends, I was a bit busy so couldn't post here.. Well if anybody has the exact date when the special classes will start please let me know. As I have to plan accordingly to start my notice period at my company. I am going to goa on May 3rd to process my educational loan. So if anybody plans to visit goa during the same time please let me know. I also read in the 2 nd letter from GIM that we have to pay for the laptop before June 15th if we care taking it from GIM. So in that case I hope we will get the laptop as soon as we start our classes.

laptops - it would be better if you start bugging mukesh for the laptops as early as possible...only then u can expect to get them early...

Here comes the T - test. Great guys start throwing in, F Test, Chi Sqaure Test and what we have.
BTW, we can also find a corelation between the scores and the places occupied by students, or say a interaction effect with being an engi / non engi (put dummy variables) and then try with the scores. lets see wat was the corelation. Cn also do a hypo testing on this.
now i have received the second letter mentioning special classes......can nebody plzz throw some more light on to it
To my understanding these are Quant, Basic Accounting and Comp Techniques remedial classes. Hwever, more light will be thrown by patel in a couple of days about the same...

hi pgp 2's & 1's i would request the seniors to tell us what all should v have a knowledge of in Accounts..b4 joining...coz lot of us are engineers and for us it would be french..and moreover some of us wont be able to attend the special session at GIM due to own reasons..we still have some time at hand and v can tryn and get some basic abt accountancy..
