I have also applied for Round2.
My profile:

GMAT: 720/5.5(2006)
TOEFL: 111(2007)
Acads: Avg
Extra Curr: Good
Work-Ex: almost 4 years as of August 2008. Working as a Software Engineer in GE.

Do we have any Puys admitted to Gerogia tech?
I have also heard that Georgia tech has a good relation with GE so donno if that could work in my favor.

Well there a couple of reasons, even though I have a good GMAT score my acads arent that spectacular. Also I suffer from IIM syndrome, that too in software product development which isnt considered very highly. The main reason I am going to Georgia tech is that it is considered to be a good school for techies and also GE recruits from here and I would like to get back into GE post MBA.

Hi all,

I have applied to Georgia Tech for R2. But I haven't heard from them.

Well I have 650 as my GMAT score and I work as a quality negotiator in a semiconductor company. I speak French and German besides English and have good and consistent voluntary experience.

I seemed to have missed this. Where have you read this, or something to this effect?

Well when we submitted the application, we received an email that said :

"PLEASE BE PATIENT and we ask that you
not telephone or send e-mails during the first month after your
application is submitted. Doing this only slows down the process. "

I guess that says it all !

Now, the only question is that first month = normal days or business days 😉

I submitted mine, only 24 hours before the deadline, so I guess it's just about been a month. Which actually means, maybe I could write to them now... Heh! In anycase I believe GA Tech gives out the offers in at max 6 weeks, no?
