I am in a really tough situation where in I have to make a choice between Georgetown and Smith Business School.
My profile in brief
Work ex: 3 yrs of exp in IT
Gmat : 740
Post MBA im planning to switch to IT consulting, would like to stay in the US for the initial 3-4 yrs then eventually move back to India.
My research on the schools:
Smith:
+ Strong IT curriculum
+ Strong desi network
+ I have been offered a GA and a $20k schol. Total cost of the prog. after reducing the schol comes out to be around $50k
- Placements not that great
Georgetown
+ Strong Brand name
+ International Exposure
+ Better placements
- Got a total schol of $20k. Total cost of the prog. around $95k.
Any kind of suggestion will be highly appreciated..

Given about 50k savings I would advice you to go to Smith. I live in the area and know a bit about both the schools. There isnt much to choose between these 2 schools so given the 50k savings smith would be a prudent choice.
