RAGE is an AWESOME Fps bro.......Download it without an iota of doubt in ur mind...I finished the game yesterday itself....about 15-20 hrs of gameplay...AI is simply outstanding....

BF3 was not that satisfying after the phenomenal Hype given before its release... 
Lets see if the COD franchise can give a winner like good ol' COD4 (MW)...

well well well. As everyone expected , MODERN WARFARE 3 is just a slight redesign of MW2 .. Very sad Activision. I guess the studio only wants to milk the money off the fan boys.
Even though BATTLEFIELD 3 's Single player campaign is a fail, its massive 60-player multiplayer matches are a huge success. Call Of Duty MW3 Multiplayer is just the same old COD4 style run & gun gameplay... Though it will look like more action, the gameplay is just the same as the last one. The player's aim will be only in getting the maximum kills without caring about the 'team'. MW3 will be more appealing to kids/impatient players who just wanna 'pawn' the enemy players. These type of adrenaline-addicted players would never like BF3, since it may look boring to them. COD suits them best.
BF3, on the other hand, involves strategy and team work. You have to plan the attack and cant just blindly go with a spray&pray; attitude like in COD. You need to have support teams to aid you in the attack. The maps are so huge and open. This makes it impossible to RUSH. You cant afford to have many deaths in this kinda gameplay, so planning is crucial. No spray&pray.; Also Camping at a single spot is a waste of time as the huge maps makes your potential targets very less.
Verdict :
COD MW3
People who like to rush and just wanna have loads of action by playing like Rambo in small maps should get COD-MW3.. console players would love this game.
Personal Opinion:It would be fun alright.But in the wrong way.
BF3
The mind-blowing Graphics, real-battlefield simulation, excellent gameplay make this a Must buy for tactical players who don't mind helping fellow team mates and fight towards the team's victory rather than the personal kill count. BF3 is made for the PC. its not a console port like COD.. BF3 is a treat for PC users like me :)
Personal Opinion: My personal winner
If I wanna get a nice Kill count I could play COD 4 (MODERN WARFARE 1) anyday. But the different style of gameplay offered by BF3 cant be obtained in any other FPS. BF3 ftw!!

Finished BF3 and COD MW3 single player campaings.....
Disappointed to say the least...
wasted 2700+2700=5400 bucks and got absolutely nothing in return..:sneaky:
BF3 ka to BETA me hi pata chal gya tha ki Bakwas game hai...But still went for it coz of the Multiplayer...:-(
Multiplayer works fine and really pose a challenge to you if you are a Hardcore game Lover..

In fact Batman Arkham city is a much better choice...its an awesomeeeee Game with amazing storyline and even better visuals and sound effect than its counterpart..asylum.A must Play ..

i am guessing you own a console? How do Mp matches work in consoles? They have re-introduced dedicated server support in MW3. So there must be dedicated server support for consoles too right??
And about BF3, it does have flaws but just look at the amount of work they have put into the game... Like you said MW3 is just like an expansion pack. Same stuff with new maps and a little improvement in graphics. Compared to that the frostbite 2 engine of battlefield 3 is spectacular.. If you compare the screenshots of both games side by side, cod will look like a cartoon. But BF3 servers have bad hit registration now. The lag makes it hard for moderate broadband speeds.
I am sure they would fix the issues with BF3 in the next updates....
But in the end, the most successful game would be MW3. Its already breaking all previous records. So I think the players would show up soon in a few weeks... Stick with it.. COD always delivers.. So If you are thinking of exchanging one of them, give away BF3 (unless of course you like the style of gaming). I have seen god-like pros in COD4 suck very bad in Battlefield 3. They are two different games.

One of the biggest problem for MW2, and perhaps the main reason why it died off early on console/PC , is finding a game. The peer-to-peer hosting matchmaking system was terrible in MW2, and is still just as bad in MW3.
It can take forever to find a game, and unless you're located in the US or UK (where over 90% of the players are located), you'll find it difficult to find a game that won't lag the hell out of you.
It's really surprising why IW still went on with this obviously failed system

The reason behind the record breaking sales is simple..COD was always the beloved franchisee of CASUAL gamers and there are 10x casual gamers than hardcore ones...
anyways the truth is Take the deck of cards known as MW2. Reprint them with a new back cover design. Shuffle the deck. Deal the cards differently. We have MW3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bhai i absolutely know what you are trying to say and i am in full agreement that it looks like a MW2 DLC but it deserves this encore because soap and price have become parts of hardcore gamers like me and your lifes
see why do MOST people still mourn STEVE JOBS and very few mourn DENNIS RITCHIE no offense intended it is because APPLE changed the way we compute or talk it made it more beautiful similarly MW changed the way we play FP SHOOTERS its like we care for price soap etc

and also the gameplay etc are very good in MW 3 THE ONLY PROBLEM ARE THE GRAPHICS WHICH ARE STILL 30 FPS THIS IS BECAUSE INFINITY WARD WALKED OUT OF MW3 MIDWAY AND IT WAS DEVELOPED BY SLEDGEHAMMER OTHERWISE WE WOULD HAVE SEEN BETTER GRAPHICS THAN BF3
I will say except crysis series most other FPS game campaigns are similar and very easy (even on highest difficulty level)
I cant talk abt MP cause i havent played much except crysis 1
While playing games like COD and BF u feel that ur watching movie rather palying game

Finished AC revelations yesterday BUT THIS time on a modded console
Coudnt dare to take a risk again after BF3/MW3 debacle 
Here's what i feel and a few Pic of the gameplay
Assassins Creed: Revelations is, first and foremost, a giant, beautiful sandpit for the player to enjoy at their leisure.U can recruit assassins to their guild and send them off on secret missions through Europe, Africa and the Middle East.However a new addition is u can use a Hook Blade to grab hold of roof ledges or rip out the throats of their opponents. u can also craft a large array of bombs. Also,u can defend their guilds against armies of attackers in a tower-defence game.
But best of all, u can parkour through the games vast open expanse, shimmy up towers, leap from building to building and engage in a lot of swordplay.
Theres also a plot of sorts, and this is where a whole-hearted recommendation becomes a little hard to justify. This is because the game, which is by no means bad,:nono: is the latest section of a plot, which has become so barmy and convoluted by now that newcomers will battle to follow whats going on.
Playing Assassins Creed: Revelations as an entry point to the series is like starting to watch The Wire with the eighth episode of the second season.:biggrin:
The backstory runs thus; a bartender called Desmond has been kidnapped by a secret society calling themselves the Templars.:-(
Apparently hes the descendent of a line of assassins and the Templars hope to access his ancestors memories, in order to track down some artefacts that can change the course of mankind (or something).
To that end, they stick Desmond in the Animus, a machine that allows the user to experience parts of the lifetimes of anyone who shares their DNA.
With the Animus, Desmond relives the memories of first Altair, a Medieval assassin, and then Ezio Auditore, an Italian noble who turned assassin during the Renaissance and
are you still following any of this? No? Good, I thought it was just me. All you really need to know is that in Assassins Creed: Revelations, the lions share of your time will be spent as Ezio in Constantinople, during the time of the Ottoman Empire, with occasional visits to the Animus and the Medieval Middle East.
The large portion of the game involving Ezio and Altair is absolutely ace; the sections involving the latter are a bit brief and bit too scripted, but overall they do the job.
The parts set in the future, where Desmond has to navigate the inside of the Animus in some sort of first-person platforming game are badly made, but thankfully theyre kept to a minimum.
The real draw, though, is Ezio, and his engrossing travails through Constantinople. Forget the convoluted story - you dont need logic when you have bombs and a Hook Blade.
Rating 8/10 Great

i have already played cod 4, but i like counter strike more , there are not much players of COD compared to CS in any gaming platform in india
