Crysis is the best game of all time... and you require a decent rig to play it xD
It's about aliens and their invasion of planet earth...
Though i still believe Crysis was better than Crysis 2.
I never really understood why they made it for the consoles.. Should have kept it as PC only and tried a different game for consoles

Guys I'm too playing games after almost 3 yrs..had my new lappy a few days back..

its a first person shooter... Crysis and Crysis Warhead were critically acclaimed games with a great gameplay and storyline... But since you have a PS3 you must be talking about Crysis 2... Though PC users were quite disappointed (as it lacked the sandbox gameplay of the previous versions and felt like a 'console port-ed' game....) it was quite successful with consoles... I have played both PC(@home) and PS3(@friend's place) versions.. Enjoyed the game very much. Go ahead and get it...

It's a First person shooter...I say go ahead its totally worth it..
And as the person above me rightly pointed out its Crysis 2 you are referring to since Crysis 1 was PC only

i have lot of back logs like god of war , metal gear solid , gta 4 and some others but i am looking fr some game which takes me away from fighting and all and is made fr just pure fun ..
any suggestions ??

I have a PC with First Generation Intel Core i3, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB HDD,nVidia 9600 GT and Windows 7 64 bit... I got the rig in 2010... But I am still not able to run GTA 4 (which released in 2008 ) smoothly... So is it because GTA 4 requires a Quad core processor or do I have a glitchy copy of the game(obtained via Torrent ofc)... 
I have had a similar experience, I have pretty decent specs, but still GTA4 feels so laggy and glitchy (I think it's the problem with the game and not with the systems).. I tried patches that fix this thing, but still they don't make much of a difference.. it was a very poor gaming experience for me... GTASA and GTAVC are the best for me !!!!

I ran GTA 4 on much lower specs, on an NVIDIA 8400 GS card, and plain Core 2 Duo processor. On 1.5 gb ram. And it ran smoothly. Mine was the original version though. Your specs are more than enough to run GTA 4.

GTA 4 has some problems with the PC platforms..this was an huge issue when the game came out, and apparently there is no fix for that. It needs a obscene amount of processing and graphics power, which should not be the case, really.
Even my machine, which could easily run resource-intensive games at that time (Dirt 2, Far Cry 2, Just Cause 2, Crysis warhead etc) had some problems running GTA 4. Frame rates were choppy and I had to reduce the settings to a bare minimum, which took away most of the charm. Hence abandoned it.

Indeed i stopped playing it after a few starting missions.... it was just not worth it

But yeah, GTA 4 was a bit of a let down. The story was very banal and uninteresting for me at least. Though I am a big fan of the GTA Franchise. I just hope the next one has a better storyline and non-repetitive missions. After a point, I simply got fed up of all those car chasing missions.
Good that I am not the only one encountering this problem. It was really baffling as I could run the latest resource-hungry game Battlefield 3 easily but not GTA 4.

I used to play DIABLO in my Pentium 1 ... Very good game... You can try both diablo 1 and Diablo 2....
Was about to purchase Mass Effect 3 but somehow decided against it.
Instead bought a game which I had wanted to play for a very long time- Metal Gear Solid 3, for the PS2...
will hopefully purchase a PS3 next year..:sneaky:
