I cleared my CA - Final in MAy 2011. I thought i will be easily getting my 6L + ka package like getting a candy from a store.

But "happy Realisation" (rather sad).....There are seldom any jobs in (finance) industry offering such a package....(though audit jobs r available)

So, I joined the office where i did my articleship gettin 5L ka package.....:'''(


Any of you guys (may 2011 CA) got any good jobs.....???

Pls also tell me about the package, role, place n if possible how u got it.....??

Although I haven't appeared for CA final ( will be appearing in November), this time due to the high results, pretty much everyone's in the same situation. You should be happy you landed up with a job!

Most of my friends who've finished their CA in May are still looking for jobs! One of them like you has joined the firm where he did his articleship.

It's indeed sad that we slog so much and still land up peanuts! Just be persistent, keep applying, like studying for CA you'll have to be patient! 😃

Oh and , I know some people who got through Axis Risk Consultancy, maybe you could try applying there off campus. Package is also quite good.

And well, audit jobs are perennial, they'll always be ready to absorb you, it gets tough when you want to venture out to a different field after completing CA.

Are you thinking of applying to Bschools this year ? Giving the exams ?

hey guyz..me too passed da may-11 attempt..nw placed in campus wid gud package bt wntd to go in IB..so givin CAT, XAT , NMAT this yr..hpe sumthin turns out gud 😁

I also received a offer letter from a Pune based company of 55k take home for Finance procuring role. But as it is in pune, I'm skeptical about it.

Well they hav offered me a finance profile bt dsnt really seem to be finance..itz more of management and financial control..my take home is about 50k pm..hope CAT turns out well..cz job dsnt seem remotely related to corporate finance also..
