@rahul5184 thanks for clarifying the confusion..i assume due to non computer background IIMB rejected, but you atleast are from comp sc area..hard luck..for IIMA, i dont have any hopes, if i get a selection then it will be shocking :-)
Even I am on Waitlist from IIM A for Marketing..Never new there is any concept of waitlist for FPM..Does any one has any idea how any people they are putting on waitlist for particular area?

In the past there have been candidates, who have decided not to join FPM due to a variety of reasons: a) location preference, b) career choice, c) family reasons, or d) any other.
So, possibility does exist.
But as I mentioned earlier, let me get a clarification from the FPM office.
