Good evening everyone!
The first day of the gdpi process went smooth. Good mix of work ex and freshers turned up for the process.
We being from the admissions cell are NOT authorized to divulge the exact GD topics and PI questions. However the aspirants who went through the process, feel free to share your experience here!
Information which I can share with you all here is that the GD Topics varied from areas related to social issues, politics and technical etc.
Advise the other aspirants to brush up their knowledge of current issues.

topic based GD. Before the discussion there will be a written ability test. In this you need to pen down your thoughts related to the topic. Try to be concise and show clarity of thought.
No extempore. GD will be followed by PI and document verification.

Yes your understanding is correct.
Weightage for WAT (written ability test) is not known.
Please check the GDPI queries thread for knowing the marks distribution criterion (the very first post)

It is done pre GD. Once you have written your views on a sheet, discussion commences and post that you need to submit the sheet.

You may make changes during the GD.
Normally you wont be given any separate time to organize the written things once the GD is over. So write well to avoid changes later on.
You would be given roughly 5 to 7 mins for writing down followed by a discussion of 12 to 15 mins. Instructions will be given before the process so no need to worry about the time limit etc.

GD Experience: Good...Not a fish market...everybody spoke...but the discussion was off-topic...the term anachronism was not explained by anyone...in the summary one guy tried to explain it...

S: The Indian IT industry is going through a lot of turmoil due to the economic slowdown..Assuming u were the head of ur business unit...wat 2 steps would you take to get business?
Me: Misinterpreted the question..said the no. of managers outdo the no. of the actual working class..

Me: Not all of them...depends on the performance n all..blah..
S: But ye to tab hai when u have to save the business..u go for cost cutting...I am saying ki u have to get business..

Experience: More of an HR interview...No stress interview...
It lasted for about 15 minutes maybe..
