hi guys.. i m new to this post although i hv been following it fr quite sum time.. i m a footabll fanatic..and i support man united.... i also like real madrid and arsenal.... i think on this thread peoople spend too much time and space on squabbling and fighting....and i think if we r true football fans then instead we should concentrate solely on soccer... regarding champions league draw.. its going to be one heck of draw......and ma dream linings are..
man utd vs spurs(because they cant seem to win against us..records speak fr themselves..) real vs chelsea.. shakhtar vs schalke(surprise packages..esp shakhtar) inter vs barca.. letc waht those balls decide..
Dude let the draws come out pple will stop that n u will only exp Footballing talks n stuff here.. by the way since many pple here r fanatics of diff clubs..dey cnt take anything against their club.. so it happens sumtimes... but yes it can be avoided..

and I agree with shaun that saf is dragging a very average man utd side..and he may well darag it to over the line.. but honestly nw a days u dont get that joy watcching them play..if u compare them with time when ronaldo and tevez were here..and when scholesy and giggsy were on peak of their prowess..
ps-ronaldo and rooney together were a treat to watch fr any football fan... same as xavi,iniesta and messi terroising the opposition defences..
As For Tevez.. I would have never spent 35+ millions for him whih city paid to Kia J the agent who owned him..look at his work ethics..hes always demanding more money be it more than Yaya Toure or Rooney at Utd.. n plus he would have left for Spain anywayz in next 2 yrs n he will surely move.... Most SA players do bcz of Spain being a warmer country than England n Spanish is spoken by most pple in SA or Argentina.. n he would leave City in a year or 2 for Madrid or maybe Inter..
Coming to Ronaldo.. SAF always treated him like a son.. n he just allowed him to move to fulfill his childhood dream..

I think Utd desperately need a creative central midfielder, the kind that can orchestrate a game. Which is why Utd fans should hope you guys get Luka Modric. I think he would be more effective at Utd because teams attack more against spurs and fall back to defend against united.

yes ur right..but what i meant to say that at our peak in 2006-9 especailly ..we were not less that barcelona in terms of passing,vision and creativity..and we were best in counterattack..with ronaldo leading the line.... but now that entertainmaenmt part is not there..they just go their to do a job... and they have been pretty bad on road this year.. i hv never seen united struggle so much on road..... SAF even went to Fulham Vs Bremen game n to look at him n even had a chat with him in the tunnel.. so the Gaffer tried to convince him but as u knw when its Madrid Vs any other club then most players chose Madrid.. n most of there careers get screwed..
The issue is we lost Hargreaves who was the Keano type of player , had injuries to other players , lost Ronaldo n Tevez(Yes that Villain)..
P.S. i have a gud news Park , Fletcher are supposed to be back for Bolton game. n most of all players will be back post Intnl break i.e. 2nd April

I guess ur saying arsenal is a dumb team by saying that they always play like the same team in different condition. I know winning isn't everything.But i still fell that barca vs inte was a classic match only coach like mourinho can do things like this not wenger. If mourinho were the coach of arsenal things would have been different . We call them manager / coach. Quality of a manager is to react differently in different situation. sad to see liverpool go out from europa yesterday,we lacked creativity in the midfield,maxi and jovankovic cant play as winger,we desperately need a winger to supply passes to strikers,it is useless to have caroll for aerial threat if we cant supply quality passes to him.we need to secure at least fifth place in bpl if we want europa next year(spurs 6 points ahead and played one match less) looks difficult but not impossible. 3 years ago our strength was our midfield(gerard,benayoun,alonso,mascehrano),now we do not have a midfielder except gerard and mieriless to create passes to strikers and whenever gerard is injured we are dependent on mieriless and if he under-performs in that match we fails to score.it shows how much we are still dependent on gerard to create passes.it was heartbreaking to see gerard sitting dejected and helpless in stands yesterday. cant blame king kenny,he is trying his best to clear the mess created by roy hodgson.john henry should provide him proper funds to purchase a winger,a leftback,a midfielder IN SUMMER but the big question is will anyone join us if we fail to qualify for the uefa competitions next season. anyways we are "LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB AND WE MUST REACT",GO AHEAD LIVERPOOL. I think about OZIL you are right..even his dad wanted him to play for madrid... hargreaves is a big loss for us..he is a great player and a fighter.....he was influential for us both in attack and defence... sahin i havent seem him play..bt have heard all good thngs about goetze... bt man when are these glazers are leaving our club.. bloody americans..

I think the success of Mesut Ozil and Sammy Khadiera have something to do with the way Mou has gone about business at real.
Mourinho always has got the best out of players and made them useful in his team's style of play.
Having said that, I believe Ozil is himself a legend in the making. He has impressed me every time I've seen him play...be it in winning or losing causes. The silky German is a unique talent and very different form what German footballers are usually like. I believe he is a combination of lets say Xabi alonso (the best these days in holding the MF together and making killer passes) and Tomas Mueller (attacking on the wings and making darting runs in the box).

oezil is a great palyer in the making no doubt abt it..his attitude is pretty laid back..bt he patrols the field like noone else and also is very clever in his positioning.... khedira is a good DM and i think it ws a very shrewd buy by mou.. shaun is right tht barca inspite of having bad days win 2-1,1-0..I think thisseason there have been 6 or 7 such scorelines..so it has made a huge difference instaed of having 6 or 7 points they have mangaed to bag all 21 points...
