If chelsea do sustain it over a decade and more and even after Roman leaves chelsea then they deserve to even think that they are better than clubs such as liverpool arsenal and Manu. yup...only time will tell whether Chelsea will indeed be the big club, or will wane away like others.
But I think apart from a few mindless signings(zhirkov), they are on the right track. Fan base has certainly increased and that means more revenue. Youth academy has at least 2-3 exciting prospects. The days of big spendings are over.
Manchester Shitty would never sell Given to their title rivals. Wenger did put in heck of an effort for schwarzer but there is only so much money that u pay for a 37 year old goalie. Fabianski has been amazing in goal and so has schesny ( This guy is gonna be one of the best keepers in PL in a cpl of years) Our only fit keeper is a 20 year old and no one is even thinking of a GK signing thats how good he is. Defensive department I do agree we need much better players. But with a fit verma even that department will be full.
Wenger not spending much has got to do with the board as well and the overall philosphy of a club. Arsenal always nurture talent rather than buy it . Much like Barcelona look where that has got them. Different clubs have different philosophies Arsenal's seems wrong because we havnt won anything for 5 years. If Wenger wins the title He will be god for sticking to his principles.
Wow didnt knew that....i havent seen his recent matches but at the start of the season he was horrible...didnt have any comand over his penalty area....personally for me didnt deserve to be a premier league goalkeeper let alone a goalkeeper of a title chasing side. and as far as philosphy of club goes......no team in thier wildest dream can win a match at nou camp...by playing so called proper football...this is where master tactisian like jose are considered best coach in the world...his inter side did what was required in thier home game & i think they didnt have a single shot on or off target at the nou camp game....while arsenal on the other hand took the lead in thier game and still went with thier so called football philosphy and were well & truly beaten by a ten times better footballing team I dont say that His philosphy of football is wrong...but one should know his limitation & there should be nohumiliation in winning ugly....because at the end of the day it is the result that is all that matters. you would say five years is not a long period...but people like mourinho have made thier careers in that time span while a great coach like arsene wenger has won nothing.

Personally for me fabergas is a better midfield player Frank is 32.....while fabergas is still in his early twenties He was no where as good as fabergas at his age Rest assured you are going to hear a lot of this guy fabergas for a long long time
i think ryan giggs, paul scholes, frank lampard, steven gerrard , michael essien are all great midfielders in their own rights and its not wise to compare them
add the others like fabregas, modric, malouda, nasri and the likes its a very good league for midfielders.
