We are jinxed. Always so near yet so far. Ruing the goal we conceded in the last minutes of the first leg. This whole season we have done remarkably well in the 2nd half in PL. Now even in CL we woke up in the 2nd leg.

On our day we can beat the best of teams.. Man Utd, Barca, Milan(s), RM, Chelsea etc etc..
What we need is more commitment and consistency..
I still believe we have a good squad and if we play to our full potential.. We can bring back the "Invincible" era!!

no offense but hazard's best attribute is diving. half his assists are from dubious penalties. please please don't compare him to the likes of messi/iniesta.

2. Being a Chelsea fan I watch all the matches of my time over the season not once i have seen him dive can u plz point me out that when he dived???? Infact in our home game against reading The commentator commented that Hazard shld have gone down when he was tackeld inside the box by their def... he stayed up n got nothing

today's match. the penalty torres missed. watch it again he dives before the defender even makes the contact.
Saar, watch for urself clear contact there.... lookin to win penalties nd diving to win penalties are two different things.... Nd if this is a Dive then walcott Swims nd Bale Flies...

i didn't say there is no contact. u try to stay on feet and in-spite of that if the defender brings you down then it's a penalty. jumping onto a defenders leg and falling is a CLEVER way to get a penalty. he is not even running at speed to fall down. once or twice it is fine but he was doing the same in his early chelsea matches.
Bale is a certified diver.
Theo is less so.

Hazard is a great player and he is growing as a fantastic player day by day. He is certainly not a diver, but if you think he is then certainly not a good one :P. Well most important we got some gem of a players and with new manager next season hopefully Jose, we'll be very tough team for any opponent in Europe.
last 2 games were fab for Chelsea, hope they continue this form .

i think people have different definitions of diving.
i explained in the above post what i think diving is.
important thing is Hazard is not a brilliant player yet. chances are he will become one. we will talk when he gets 15 goals, 15 assists in a season. the likes of Lampard and Cesc has set the bar high on what it means to be a brilliant attacking mid in EPL. mata is close to that. hazard is far from that.
Agree with Deepu. We often get carried away by a few performances. Mata is absolutely one of the best five players in EPL. But I think Hazard is still not quite there. He has not been able to have the same impact which he had at Lille.Given that French league is not that strong as compared to EPL, we should look things in perspective. He is yet to prove himself at the very top level.
P.S : Both Mata and hazard were so close to becoming Arsenal players.I still rue these big misses by Wenger.

And I don't think Cesc and Lampard falls in a same category :P. Though Cesc is a BRILLIANT player but certainly not as brilliant as Lampard ;).
