. I just read a statistic that from the time he came to premier league in 2006 only van persie and rooney scored more goals than him and he is on level with lampard in terms of goals scored. That's a very good statistic that most are ignoring
@TONYMBA No sir, Berbatov is not that much bad a player as you said :D, he definitely will be a value addition to any club other than the two manchester clubs

@maddy0707 Yes I remember that day, that was the closest arsenal came to winning the premier league. Lot of ifs and buts mate. Think it was against Birmingham and conceded a last minute penalty also..

Talking about Berbatov he scored a spectacular goal last week against stoke.
@venkatesh561 : well m saying about his present scenario....during his MU days he was gr8...but not now....and also his age is 32....enough of small deals by Wenger...time to flow the cash for big guns...Giroud bi kuch kaam ka nai....i would love to see Villa and Podolski together in 2013-14 season as regulars :)
@supreetkini Man can u stop venting ur fustration on chelsea, Accept the Fact that Currently Arsenal is not good enough to win Anything and keep on saving money!!
And we need to spend money???? i dont think so!!!! may b probably on a new striker ( oh w8 we will have lukaku back next year) midfield ????? ( mata, hazard, oscar, ramires,de bruyne, moses, mikel) all international players and most of them young enough to play 10 years of top level football... defence???? ( u saw nathan ake last night???? ) g.k ( courtuois) lets see if we need to spend

not Having A manager for long term is not good for stability of club, but not winning anything for 8 years

Yeah 2-2 94th minute penalty
@maddy0707 yeah lots of good goals this weekend. Apart from Berba's others are long range ones mostly, Bale V WestHam, Papiss cisse V Sothampton, Rafael V QPR, Tevez V Chelsea... bu berba's technique is awesome in that volley.
@supreetkini said:@abhibeloved@chelseaboy Who says we don't accept the current fact?I will be the first to agree that the club is going through a turbulent phase on the pitch as well as well as off it.Over the last 8 years, Arsenal fans have seen everything. From horrible injuries, to disloyalty to fuckall refereeing decisions in important games, to pathetic luck. And it is these experiences that the club will build on in the future. We have learnt the hard way, and continue to do so.You speak about Roman changing managers when he wants. Just tell me who you see as the next Chelsea manager. Would anyone realistically want to even come there knowing they would be given the sack anytime, even if they have won the Champions League? Hope you have read that awesome article in the Telegraph, where Tim Still illustrated how Chelsea have themselves ran out of managers for next season. Even Pep is gone to Bayern. With financial fairplay rules coming to effect from next season, Chelsea won't even be able to spend any of the fat wads of cash that sit under Roman. So, ATB with that!
As I said we can't change his decision no matter what we say/do, and I know he took some pathetic decision by sacking managers specially recent one with RDM, he is our legend and we will always love him. And I don't have any justification for why he do so. It is simple he likes to do it and he always do it, we don't want to let it happen but we can't do anything. And of course we ran out of managers for next season but that wont be a problem for so long.
And about financial fairplar rule, don't worry buddy Chelsea will survive, You should worry for Arsenal instead :mg:. SO ATB to you with that
@maddy0707 I dont think a player can stay at a club for 10 years or so if he is not offered atleast 2 contracts, something which ur team needs to learn

So true ball went right past the goalie and he could do nothing. It was like a bullet,
Yeah, bale is in form of his life.....he makes scoring from freekick so easy

aaj ye thread lively lag raha hai... football fans of PG...

@chelseaboy yaar really Nathan ake was fantastic last night. Saw a player like him after a long time who actually run the game

@abhibeloved Man i just loved his game last night!! can pass the ball, has gr8 positional sense, can tackel nd has speed... would love the fact if he is given a run in the europa league n fa cup!!
@chelseaboy @abhibeloved
I wholy and truely accept that at the moment Arsenal are not capable of winning shit. I never said I don't accept the hard truth. There are days I am nervous even if the team is leading 4-0 in the 85th minute!
I am anti-Arsenal board, and I hate the fact that they are creating a dogpile of cash, in the name of financial stability.
What irks me is the fact that people target Arsene Wenger for this, including rival fans who don't know squat about the manager.
And please, grow up from the childish notions that winning is the whole and sole of football. Yes, 8 years is a long time, and Chelsea have been extremely succesful in the meanwhile. It hurts, but it's football, and as Arsenal fans we have lived through it!
Arsenal has an extremely strong financial foundation, for years to build on, a stadium debt that is vastly being re payed, and huge sponsorship deals on the way.
More importantly, the club is getting through a chunk of English youngsters, who know what it means to play for the cannon on the chest!
The future is bright!

@maddy0707 Yeah Bale is enjoying the form of his life but he is not in the class of Ronaldo and Messi. That's for sure. There is an English obsession about being the best. That is why they over hype the Britain players. They said the same thing about Rooney also. i think the one person who is closer to Ronaldo and Messi is Van Persie over the past three seasons...
