Real Madrid cut the gap between themselves and Barcelona back to two points after an exciting 3-2 win over Getafe. The hosts caused a scare by cutting the deficit to one in the late stages in a match where Kaka made his comeback after a lengthy injury .
Its gonna be tough competition b/w Barca and Real:grin:

Finally its gonna be El Classico that gonna make the difference. All such matches will come and go.

sadly, that match holds a lot of significance, if only la liga was as competitive as the EPL or even like the serie A which has been better this year

Sadly, that's one thing that lacks la liga,and why all spectators and football lovers are more interested in EPL.

It has been like that from the past 4-5 years.Barca and Real are way above the rest of the teams not only because of the fact that they have better teams and are economically in much better position , but also because they have the history which no other team comes even close to.

If Kaka can return to the form he displayed for Milan in 2006-2007 , there is not stopping Real.Not even Barca !

The closest among the top leagues in probably Bundesliga in which every year except Bayern , almost new teams make the champions league.Every year it show up a lot of surprises.

It is very boring. It will remain the same till the TV rights money distribution isnt made uniform in spain.

Even in FM11 its like that barca score about a 100 points every season..In the last 4 seasons it is 2-2 between me and Barca. The 3rd team being a distant 20 points away:biggrin:

The quality of goals and football overall in bundesliga is quite good. The french league is even closer this year. Only 9 points separate the Top 15 teams

Even EPL , this year has been truly gr8, with each match being equally important and atleast 5 teams in line for number 1 spot.

I'm not sure about matches played, but they have lost 1 game and won all the rest.. I think its 8 wins and 1 loss away from home!!

Yes they have a freaking 10 point lead at the top of the table. With total 14 wins,1 draw and 2 losses in 17 matches i.e43 points and yes 8 wins in9 matches away. They are running away fast.

Watched the match between the team which plays the prettiest ( Arsenal ) and the one which plays the dullest ( ManC ) football in EPL and I should say I was thoroughly disappointed.I dont understand the reason why ManC purchases new strikers every time when they play only a single striker in a game.And above that Tevez was mostly found in his own half defending.

Mancini is one of the most boring and dull coach I have seen.If he has his way he will play with 11 defenders.

I was thoroughly disappointed at ManC performance against ManU when they played with 10 men defending and I can say the same watching this match.

When ManU played ManC only ManU wanted to win and this time it was only Arsenal who were looking to do the same.

They work on squad strength but not on team's chemistry......

Hummels and Subotic pair is working great for them.They are defensively rock solid.

Mancini is emulating Serie A tactics. 3 CDMs against relegation threatened teams.Premier League will loose charm with these kind of managers.
Arsenal were very unlucky with RVP and Fab hitting woodwork twice.
FA has to do something.They can't let Man City hog talents and what is point in buying strikers when you don't need them.
Adebayor,Tevez,Jo,Balotelli,SantaCruz and all these players have to do defending sitting deep and waiting for counter attack.Mourinho used to do the same,but everyone can't be Mourinho.

On the contrary, in La liga, its only Real Madrid, and Barcelona, who are table toppers. Then there is a huuuuuge gap in points between the other teams. this clearly shows that there is only 2 title contenders while, in EPL, the game is still on at least.:grin:

The english league is becoming competitive not because lower teams are improving but top teams are degrading...at least barca/rm maintained their standards

ManU have a big 7 point lead at the top of the table, it is there that competition is getting less. Yes it is still on for number 2,3,4 and rest of the positions, but the way ManU and other clubs are playing the race for number 1 spot doesn't seem to last long. And yes la Liga is again a 2 horse race.
