Oho..Fergie is like that only. Even after united loses he match, he blasts referees!! I am not surprised with this comment. Even Jose said when he was at Inter Milan that Ibramovic is better player than Ronaldo..

Yet another drubbing(4-1) from the devils against the hapless Fulham :).Good to see Wazza finding his match fitness and Chicharito scoring twice. I would love to see more of them in PL along side RVP

He's quick, two-footed, reads games well and is competitive. He's doing very well." He is talking about John Terry of 2000, 2001. Now, the statement makes sense?

Dude just because Phil play for Man Utd doesn't makes him better than Terry. And Phil still has a long career to play. He is a good lad and impressive too but definitely not better than Terry at least not yet. Terry is one of those players whose mere presence makes a difference. And above all he is not just a player, he is a Leader, Captain and Legend. So this statement doesn't make sense at all. And stop defending your Big Mouth Manager when he is wrong goddammit!!

@abhibeloved Please read it completely. Was Terry the "Leader, Captain and Legend" in 2000? SAF has clearly said Terry is a legend right now. But, Jones has more pace than Terry had in 2000. Stop shouting just because its a rival manager. We can still defend our manager but you can't even do that. You know why? You don't even know who your next manager will be tomorrow.

I may agree with you on many things but pls yaar..... stop shouting without reading the entire article, have some patience and go through it properly, Fergie did not demean John Terry in any way, in fact what he meant was that Jones can become as good as John Terry if he continues his development, read articles with an open mind dude.

We might not know who isnt our manager tommorow but what we know is dat dere is a certain player who has the guts to head the ball above from the ground level, We know that dere is a certain player who takes a bullet from emanuel eboube right into his chest and saves his team from going down. we know dere is a certain player for whom a national manager resigns from his job, we know that dere is a certain player who week n week out plays his heart out for chelsea and he is John Terry ( Captain, Leader , Legend) so yes we will defend him as he defends for our team!!!

Watever fergie said it was for the better of phil jones coz he has seen some talent dere!!!
If he is comparing Jones to the terry of now i think he is wrong!!! cant say about 2000-2001 but can certainlly say about 2004 wen terry was 22 something, Phil jones is way off from that level!!!

Coming to present chelsea i think we are way off from the likes of manchester team, spanish giants, juve etc... we have excellent pool of players but Management is missing. Bring Back Jose Murinho roman!! Even David moyes would be a good choice but he would need time which i Doubt he will get.


As a chelsea fan i will be more than happy we stick on to the 3rd spot n have some good cup runs for this season..

It was harsh right. So that is how we feel when he makes such comments. Well let it be. I see no point in this argument. And if you got my "goddammit" as a shout then my bad!!

Yeah correct we got some good talent and next season we'll be a tough team.

Coming to today's match, finally Torres scored when it was much needed. Well Brentford played really well today.

@abhibeloved it was one of the days........chelsea couldn't perform upto the level.....and there were some apalling decisions ......regarding both sides.......

p.s. - the art of defending has died .......and i being a defender really lament it !!! :(( ......the effect of good defending is evident from the fact that messi wasnt able to score a goal against milan from open play ....A.nesta had him in his back pocket over the two legs !!!! ....really miss them.....even vidic has been a shade of himself

Roman will fund to sign Falcao or may be Fellaini next season but the problem of inconsistency still remains.In some games Chelsea outplays the opposition and there are some where it makes its own life tough too.The need of the hour is the right gelling and confidence among the management and players.As a football lover I would love to see them back on track,they have lost their way after Di Matteo and their CL exit

Chelsea are a top side no doubt and I would love them to give a tough fight.We dont want PL to become a 2 horse race like La Liga because at present (form wise) only the two Manchester clubs look favorites to win the PL battle
