@chelseaboy I just said that the ball boy was wasting time. Had it been a Swansea player wasting time, he would have got a yellow card. But, you can't send off a ball boy. Also, from some of the footage I have seen, when Hazard kicked, he got the ball and then his leg came in contact with ball boy's body. And just before the referee called him, Hazard and Mata had a dirty smirk on their faces. Don't if they were amused with what they did or the ball boy's reaction.

Here is the GIF of the incident. The ball boy initially had the ball in his right hand. When Hazard tried to take it, he moved the ball to the left side. Then Hazard tried to take it from his left side. When he failed at that, he kicked on his RIGHT SIDE. Hope that makes it clear.

Being a chelsea fan i myself accept that he deserved a red card n may be a fine by chilsea n a 3 match ban( which is only justified in todays mordern football)
Nd if a liitle kick is a cantona type ban, then i dont think we will be left with anymore players to play football

@DibyaDreams 3/4 months is pretty harsh when there is a proof that the ball boy tried to interfere with the game intentionally. I think it should be max 3-4 matches.

No doubt the ball boy was practising football's dark arts by sleeping on the ball, but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Hazard should and will get punished and only the quantun is to be decided. My feeling is this being the 1st case, the FA will make an example of this and give a harsher ban than normal to Hazard (Refer to the difference in punishment given to Suarez and Terry as an example).
