Football Club -- Part Deux

So the prayers of Barca Fans have been answered.

Here are the draws in order of excitement :lookround: ( Order may vary by perception but the first three in the list should not  )

Barcelona Vs Arsenal

Bayern Vs Inter

Tottenham Vs AC Milan

Real Madrid vs Lyon

Schalke Vs Valencia

Shaktar Vs Roma

ManU Vs Marseille

Chelsea vs Copenhagen

If Arsenal do manage to pull off their biggest upset yet , I wont bet against Fabregas remaining in Arsenal for a longer time.

Only 3 of the eight matches have a factor of unpredictability rest all should be comfortable wins provided there is no upset...

Arsenal have a lot to prove with this fixture

United and Chelsea should through with their younger players as well....

Even shalke-valencia and shakhtar-roma are quite unpredictable!!! :lookround:
Shakhtar playing superbly at home!!!
And shalke is with Raul-Neuer-Huntelaar-Farfan-Rakitik-Metzelder!!!:cheerio:
Valencia's Soldado have scored 5 in 5!!!
All in all, great and tightly fought matches to watch.....HOPEFULLY!!!

P.S.:- "CR7" is leading in highest attempts on target i.e. 15
and also in attempts off target i.e. 16

And do u know which jersey cesc was wearing (or made to wear , though i believe he still desperately wants to wear it any cost) at catalunya town center celebrations after winning the w cup

i wish cesc stays at asenal bcoz he can't get a starting place in barca unless he beefs up & replaces puyol at center back

And do you know who was the man with the mike and ranting like hell.Your GK Reina was responsible for it,Cesc and his father both apologized for that incident.
This summers Fabregas saga was mostly engineered by Spanish and English media.
Cesc is a player who can be in starting line-up of any team in the world. For your kind information,Iniesta will be replacing Pedro and Cesc-Busquets-Xavi will be there in the midfield. So stop worrying about Cesc.
And mind you Puyol is irreplaceable at Barca like JT at Chelsea,Vidic at United. He organises defense and he is a leader.

ohhh! bad, no united- chelsea clash!

was waiting for this like anythings. Plans need to be changed.

Anyways good draw for united at Champions league

I would be good to see munich-I.Milan and Arsenal-Barcelona clashes.:drinking::drinking:

Benitez horrible tenure @ Inter comes to an end...He was sacked yesterday despite winning Club World Cup...

I am really curious about the new manager that will be replacing him...

I don't think this is confirmed news yet.. though i did see quite a few Inter fans writing 'good riddance' across forums..!!

This is not formally conformed coz discussions are on for the layoff package...But its certain that he won't be in change for any other Inter game now (not atleast for this season)...:drinking:

Benitez has turned from a good coach to a club destroyer in a matter of years.I wonder why is that. One of the reasons is his arrogance and probably his "I know it all" attitude. Moreover almost all the coaches have some sort of coterie but I have never heard any other coaching praising Benitez.

Also he is probably the only coach who doesnt show any sort of emotion if his sides scores a goal or even concedes one.Wonder why is he so emotionless.

It looks like Leanardo has replaced Benitez....

Benitez... I still wonder what happened to him
wonder how was he so successful with Valencia ... and that CL final for the reds..hmm.. things do changes

Have to wait and see how Leanardo will fit in Inter

I ve never seen gunner fans so pessimistic about any match as about this match with chelsea. Its funny how this season has had its ups and downs...halfway there and still anybody could win it though manu are favs right now....Hoping rather praying that gunners win otherwise i ll personally go to london to kick somebody's ....

TRANSFER TIME

who are your best picks keeping in mind future potential and current

usability to the squad ?

my best picks will be

GK

IGOR AKINFEEV = CSKA MOSCOW
DAVID DE GEA = AT. MADRID
ASENJO =AT. MADRID

DEF

MOMDOU SAKHO = PARIS SAINT GERMAN
NEVAN SUBOTIC= DORTUMAND
SIMON KJAER
DOMNICO CRISCITO = PLAYS LEFT BACK (ONE OF THE MOST PRIZED)
BRENO
CESAR AZPLICUTA =OSASUNA (PROMISING RIGHT BACK )

and adding to that

i think the STADIUM expansion plans can wait

we need to develop our youth academy and youth training facilities first

can help to save a lot of money:grin:

BENITEZ won th CL with us only because of the team that was built by GERARD HOULIER
Well, though u can certainly think about ignoring the stadium revampin but u need money for buying players in case you intend to do so..

PS: Why City is so happy with being 2nd..They have played 2 more games from 1st, 3rd and 4th and 1 more than 5th placed teams...Old habit of making noises perhaps...

Dude they have not been top of the premier league for 81 years!!!! That is the reason that they are excited.

Its been 45 mins that truly belonged to Arsenal....
Lampard or no Lampard Chelsea was clearly 2nd best team and Arsenal was the team with the hunger...

Wilshere seems like the only person that was bullied by blues rest all 10 held their positions...

If it goes like this will be 6 points out of 24 for Chelsea 😐

In a long time I have seen Arsenal really having more hunger than Chelsea in these big matches.Chelsea have been sluggish and they have hardly had any shots on Arsenal goal.

Looks like Arsenal going to win if it stays like this , both score wise and attitude wise.

What i think is that CHELSEA really need some break, we need to refresh, we should think on the tactics!!!
Also, we badly need a young and fast winger and a class defender too!!! :lookround:
Just look at the bench!!
Not a single promising player who could turn the game!! :drinking:
We had Ballack and Deco last year who were really helpful and crucial in the crucial games in which starting 11 failed to score!!!
Surely we are going to fight back like the champions after the winter break!!
Go Blue!!!!!!

lol.. bro if Chelsea are looking to fight back after the winter break then they might very well give up their title hopes..if there are any left!! Chelsea have 3 games coming in thick and fast and if they fail to score good points, it might become a little too much for them to cover.. The commentators rightly called Wenger ahead of his time in last night's match.. Chelsea are looking to the likes of Sturridge, Kakuta, McEachran and othey young talents to give them some firepower but they have been no good with their youth policy and sooner or later were bound to feel the impact..!!
Also you should have looked at the Chelsea bench last night..Ancelloti looked soo detached from the rest of his training staff.. guess with Abramovich pulling all the strings, he's not the first manager at Chelsea to get frustrated..!!

Cartera Contra Cantera: Damned If You Do, Damned If You Dont: The Story Of Real Madrid

Hi my take on 5-0 demolition from Real Madrid fan's perspective.

?Cartera contra cantera?: Damned if you do, damned if you don?t: The story of Real Madrid | TheHardTackle.com

Now that was typical Arsenal. Yesterday we saw the magic of Wengerball. If arsenal play like this not even GOD can prevent them from winning the title. But Arsenal should not get ahead of themselves and concentrate on tomorrow's game. The game was like a Christmas present to me 😃
