Football Club -- Part Deux

@champa I get that. But what's your point?

@sankhaghose create new one
coming from a angry gunner fan who sees RVP rescuing United day in and day out

@champa Then your anger should be directed towards the club that has failed to hold on to its players almost every season. It is simply implausible that every player who left the Gunners was looking for more money.
@champa FYI, I have nothing against the club you support. Just sharing my opinions with like-minded people here.

Why is Theo Walcott on dead-ball duty when Arsenal have the likes of Arteta and Cazorla in the starting line-up ! Preposterous !

Probably Wenger is saving him for a late strike just like Fergie did yesterday by bringing RVP
Also , there is an important match against City coming up next weekend..so he wants to use him judiciously
@bloodformoney Use whom judiciously... both Arteta and Cazorla started !
@sankhaghose Walcott !!
Didnt you see in his last two PL matches , he has started playing in his preferred position (CF).Walcott holds key in Arsenal's next clash against City.But, yes Walcott will be regularly rotated with Giroud by Wenger

Walcott... should have been promoted to the CF position a long time back, but I think, the decision to play him as a winger was a good deal, as Persie the poacher was there then. Now this is what I will say to be a strategic decision .

Ba's move to Chelsea, was among the best deal, that the club has made in their history ( apart from Ted Ben Haim in free transfer ) . Considering the releasing clause of $7.5 million , we could have got 6 more Ba.. at the price of 1 Torres. :D

@dixitbtech
One of the rumors about Walcott leaving Gunners was his positional role.Even if it is a strategic ploy by Wenger to play him as a winger, it got to be good.Let us be very clear, Walcott is not either Persie or Henry.So, If Mr. Manager wants the best out of Theo then more Central role should be assigned to him.In this context,the hat-trick his scored against Newcastle came from his preferred position,so immediate results were obtained when Wenger made him play at Central position for the first time in 20 Game weeks!

Ba's transfer to troubled Chelsea has come at a very right time and at a throw away price.I feel from long term point of view the Blues will be eyeing Falcao next summer and El Nino may return to his maiden club as a part of transfer deal.Just a speculation
Suarez should have told the referee and got the goal cancelled. :-(
@champa , @sankhaghose - Even if RVP was looking for money, knowing that he is the best player and a CAPTAIN for the Gunners, Wenger/Management should have shown a little less ego, and satisfied him. One doesnot sell his best players, and then crib about HOW MAN UTD are being saved day in and day out by the player who used to SAVE THEM in the past. You sold him, got the money, and his services till 2012, now it is time to move on!

Lampard is a club legend .Enough said. He has time and again shown that he is a true professional.The contract negotiations are yet to start.I would be glad if he takes a pay cut,1 year rolling contract and reduced playing time.CFC still needs him.He is a big match player.
