Others also, its a humble request to you please click on yes :)
And guess what.. Mario, Nasri and Tevez have just redefined that word "Bench" with their strange attitude and behavior.
City bench is the one to look out for. Interesting things do happen there. :)

Voted twice :)
@tauheed6219 Silva is showing signs of being exhausted for driving the Man City at many times for 2 consecutive seasons. the problem with Man city is squad depth which Mancini addressed this season by signing more squad players and more than that is their inability to rotate him with Nasri as Mancini plays them both most of the times..
In case of Man Utd you see Kagawa playing when Rooney is injured as an AM so squad depth has to be important as Man City are bound to play around 50+ Games a season
@chelseaboy Thats the problem at city. Mancini is tactically an idiot to be honest. Kolo Toure was closed to being sold in summer, he has Lescott and Kompany as 2 recognised CB , he then signs a 19 yr old Nastasic and is now putting Lescott on transfer list.
He pursued Agger for a good month but you need to have a 2nd option if your 1st choice player is not available.
Now the 19 yr old playing his 1st season in EPL cannot cope and play like 30 games in a season thats horrendous it will lead to injuries for that youngster. You need to blend him into squad this season with few starting XI apps and few subs apps and probably play him more next season when he has moved to a more physical league.
City are now paying dearly this season at times for the poor tactics of Mancini not because of their squad.
i want the sexy white jersey that lampard clad during the everton match!!

Mancini is actually a very highly regarded tactician...he has a long term project in mind for City...and for that to develop, you need to have young squad players(like Nastasic) and make them better by offering them first-team chances...and he seems to be pleasing the manager...he tried it last season with Stefan Savic but it didn't work...
In a big club like City, if you don't perform, you are shown the door...Kolo didn't perform last year and so he was on the list...as for Lescott this season, reports are that he's having hamstring niggles(which are completely unpredictable) and fitness issues and is touching 30...so he may be on the verge this June transfer window... but I dont think Mancini can afford to sell him during the Jan window because Kolo, Yaya and other African players will be at the African Nations Cup...if he does sell him then, then he would be having too few options at hand...
As for his tactics, he seems to be adopting a tactic which looks like a cross between a catenaccio(3-3-1-3) and a 4-3-1-2...and most of the oppositions seem to be afraid of the go on an attack mode against him and so we can see teams like sunderland who parked the bus the other night...

During their initial days, the new owners paid too much for guys worth lesser than what was paid(Milner for 20M, Adebayor for 25M, Santa Cruz for 15M)... Then the next season they brought in Tevez, Yaya, Kolo, Silva and Nasri in the following years.... Nowadays City has become synonymous with "Moneybags"...and that's hitting them hard on their wallets...and so when they go to buy players, they either need to buy emerging players(Scott Sinclair) or old guns(Maicon) at agreeable prices...Michu who was sold at 2M to Swansea was offered at 10M to them...and so the squad depth seems to be lagging... As a cover for Nasri, I would say Dembele was a very good option but Spurs swooped him up...ans we still need to see who comes in next transfer window...

@tauheed6219 Talking about catenaccio i think that hasnt worked out well in case of Europe for Mancini. U need to have the right personnel to play that formation and thats why i think Mancini is a poor tactician. You cnt play a 3-3-1-3 or a 3-4-3 with 2 fullbacks playing as CB in it.
2ndly you need a genuine Sweeper to play that formation rather a more better ball playing defender and I think Kompany is more a Vidic type CB...
Plus I think major factor this season has been Yaya playing more deeper this season , he needs to play more up the pitch or move into box.
Catenaccio works well in Serie A mostly and i would say the game has evolved from 4-4-2 and I feel 3-4-3 with the right players or 4-2-3-1 and even 4-4-2 in a diamond is the way to go forward in Football..
P.S. Thats just my unbiased opinion and I aint an Expert just following the game since last 18 years..

Catenaccio was used widely during the Italian dominance of football...but its variations continue to be used by managers like Fabio Capello, Marcelo Bielsa and many others....defensively, its the most widely recommended formation and 4-3-1-2 is the most widely used formation in the Serie A today...because of its ability to give players upfront room as well as sturdy defense...
as for a formation, each team plays a different style and so it cannot be said that any given formation would be the best to use...you may buy a player according to your liking but if he does not fit into your style, its just a waste of money...and thats where all the big spending goes down...teams need to fill in their holes with the right tools...anything else wont work...
Eg: Shevchenko was a great player when he joined Chelsea. A failure there because he just could not fit into the way Jose Mourinho wanted his players to play...
@shaun4u86 said:@abhibeloved 27.. started watching and following when i was around 10 yrs old..
oh great. even I started playing football when I was 11. But I started watching football or you can say following EPL when I was 15. so its around 9 years since I stated following EPL. And from past 8 years I am supporting my club Chelsea. Its been a great journey with Chelsea. Thank you sir, you brought back so many precious memories :).
Chelsea till I die!!
KTBFFH!!
@tauheed6219 In terms of formations and buying players spot on buddy and Shevchenko was bought on the whims and fancy of Roman. That is where i think lies hindrance in Chelsea's development as a club.
But I think the best piece of Business by Chelsea this summer was Oscar , I had followed him a lot in U21 tournaments online and I think with the kind of Price , technique wage for such a player was the most smart piece of business in transfer market.
Man City have taken a step ahead in the right direction by appointing Txiki Begiristain as Director of Football as i feel Romans interference has to stop at some point at Chelsea.
But I think Chelsea have grown a lot as a club in terms of managing their finances despite Romans wallet.
Talking about Mancini for me Adam Johnson was an issue of Man-management skills and so was the case with Tevez saga and I think City suffers as a Club for youngsters because of lack of lack of role models at club . the likes of Lampard , Scholes , Ferdinand and Henry( not currently at Arsenal but i guess u will get my point)
P.S. Has Aguero Done his hamstring..?? Then its good news for Arsenal as i dont think he will be back before 2-4 Weeks and can be even more..
